I last flew in this area almost 6 years ago with my Inspire 1 (Watch here). It was great to be back using a more compact drone with a better camera. The Mini 3 Pro continues to impress me... 👍

A little more about Delaware's salt marsh: 👇👇

Delaware's tidal marshes are carbon sinks with high plant productivity and low rates of litter decomposition. This means that they store millions of tons of carbon, which helps to mitigate climate change.

In addition to carbon sequestration, tidal marshes also provide a variety of other ecosystem services, such as filtering water, providing habitat for wildlife, and buffering storms. These marshes are valuable ecosystems that provide a range of benefits.

Marsh bird species include: saltmarsh and seaside sparrows, willet, the American and least bittern, sora, the clapper rail, Virginia and king rail, and the black rail, which is a state-listed endangered and federally-listed threatened species.
