Noordam and Viking Orion Cruise Ships Visit Melbourne 2025

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top AirVuz contributor Gizmo Drones brings us this excellent drone video of a pair of giant cruise ships docked in the harbor of Melbourne, Australia.  The first is the MS Noordam, a Vista class ship operated by Holland America Line.  Launched in 2006, the 936 foot long ship (285 m) displaces about 83k tons and carries a bit over 1.9k passengers.  The second ship is the somewhat smaller Viking Orion, which is operated by Viking Ocean Cruises.  Launched in 2018, the 48k ton ship carries about 900 passengers.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

I hope all is well in your world. It is finally summer in Melbourne and more cruise ships are visiting. Last Friday morning the Noordam and Viking Orion cruise ships arrived an hour apart. I just missed the Noordam arriving however I filmed it at Station Pier and I then filmed the Viking Orion as it arrived a short while later. Both ships looked awesome below the interesting looking clouds and morning light. At one point there were a few drops of rain. I hope you like the video and thanks for watching. Cheers, Brett - Gizmo Drones.
