Serenity of Cedar Creek - 4K

It was a postcard perfect morning to enjoy the serenity of Cedar Creek Samford, flying the Autel Lite & DJI Air 3.

Cedar Creek is a picturesque waterway, which begins its life as water moving from the high altitudes of Mount Glorious in the D'Aguilar Ranges to the low lying areas of South Pine River.

As the creek meanders towards the coastline of Moreton Bay, it is a treasure trove of rock pools, waterfalls, stunning picnic spots, plus home to a diversity of Australian native flora and fauna, including kookaburra's, platypus and wallabies.

You can start your exploration from either the location called Cedar Creek (near Samford) or Draper (near Eatons Hill), both just thirty minutes from the Brisbane city centre. Cedar Creek is one of the go-to spots for North Brisbane families and one of the must-dos for Moreton residents.

Andy Williams Park has picnic tables and free gas barbecues overlooking the creek as well as toilets and a car parking area. The natural rock pools here are a pleasant spot to cool off and there are lots of miniature waterfalls for children to splash around in.

Not to be confused with Cedar Creek at Mount Tamborine, this spot is located approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the village of Samford on Brisbane’s northside.
