A rather strange subject - an abandoned 50-feet tall "gou-mukha" or cow-head building near Sri Ramachandrapura maTh (Sanskrit for a Hindu religious institute), Hosanagara, Karnataka, India.
The maTh's original plan was to have this cow-head shaped building serve as a theme-park type attraction combined with the large Agastya Theertha lake behind, since the maTh also houses a large shelter for destitute cows (called Goshal in India) nearby. Sadly, due to some issues, the project was abandoned.
