One of the country's six official administrative regions (provinces), it lies about midway down the country's long Pacific coastline. Lying well to the south of Chile's main population centers, it's a rural land which is much more heavily populated with indigenous peoples. Shot in the winter, the video shows some of the visual highlights of this region, which is a bit north of Patagonia.
