Valley in Fall

One day I will understand why the Sainte-Marguerite valley fascinates me so much.  You have to experience these forests, these mountains, this river, find yourself in the shade of the rock walls, touch the flowing water - to be confronted with all that there is here raw, elementary, intact.  Legendary, almost, too, with these improbably shaped mountains.  I am writing all this and I feel like I am still miles away from touching on the mysterious beauty of this valley.  And maybe that's just fine.
