xLabs STEEZ Maiden Flight

VLOG!!! (FPV Flight footage at 2:05) Oh yeah! Sooo... Back around a year ago, I went to Jet, a_Nub & m0ke's neck of the woods to fly in their awesome spots in the Cache la Poudre canyon. My friend Jedi & I drove up there to do some flying & prospecting, but it proved to be a challenging day. Even so, we managed to hang out with Jet & m0ke but I only managed to get in about 4 batteries of flying & didnt get to really prospect anything. I was able to have a second trip a little bit later but I was having video issues that were tethering me to a small portion of the mountain. I waited for m0ke to meet up in the canyon, but he ended up inviting me over to their house. That was great fun! There's several videos of it if you wanna dig into my past videos! *wink* Well, a_Nub & m0ke gave me a Steez frame but I was unable to budget in any electronics for it until NOW! I was finally able to budget in that Hobbywing F4 G2 $tack & get a RunCam Micro Sparrow 2 which were the last pieces I needed for this incredibly tight build. The video runs long, I know. However, it is also vlog style with extra b-roll & commentary, as well as the fact it is a maiden flight... I dont even know what to expect. Going in, ive never flown Betaflight except my Tiny Whoop. There is no tune at all, just whatever stock is with rates at 0.78, 0.78, 0.72. I am attempting to just do a bunch of different maneuvers at varying speeds. I am also attempting to determine hang time, how it feels in flips & rolls... You know, getting to know it. Also note: this session, my antenna is broken & I am standing with my directional antenna facing the wrong direction. When I fly behind the small stone building & back in the wooded area, my DVR feed goes completely scrambled. This has since been remedied with a new antenna - direct u.fl connection. #steez #showmewhatyougot #hobbywing
