♡ SPRING IN SAXONY ♡

Saxony is a federal state in East Germany with numerous palaces and castles, some of which were built in the Middle Ages. The state capital of Dresden, located on the Elbe, is known for the historical buildings that were rebuilt after the Second World War. These include the Frauenkirche, built in the Baroque style, and the Versailles-inspired Zwinger with its gardens and porcelain collection. The Old Masters Picture Gallery includes, among other things, Raphael's Sistine Madonna.
