The quads are back in action on Season 2 of Drone Trippin! This season, a world-class crew of FPV pilots headlined by ZoeFPV, JohnnyFPV, SFPV, and FlyingBearFPV heads to Oahu, Hawaii to shred the island’s beautiful coastline, breathtaking cliffs, epic beach parks, and abandoned structures in between competition at the World Drone Racing Championships. Sometimes your greatest friends are your greatest rivals, and sometimes those friends follow you across the ocean just to challenge you to an impromptu FPV race. SPFV and FlyingBearFPV are used to racing all around the San Francisco Bay Area, but today is different: they're racing on Oahu, Hawaii, and next month's propeller fund is on the line. But before they race, they'll need some warmup in the way of a spontaneous freestyle stop, where they'll use their skills to tear up an unusual building on the side of the road. That's why SFPD and Flying Bear FPD have challenged each other to a racing showdown through on of Oahu's beach parks. Ken: Colby, What are we racing for? Colby: $100 Ken: So we are racing for $100 and propellers. That's a lot of propellers. Female: But on the way to the race the guys can't resist a quick stop for some freestyle. Colby: We [00:02:00] both slammed into the canoe hut. Ken: I did the triangle keyhole at the very top. I got it the first time and the second time I crashed into the bottom beam. Female: When Ken and Colby get to the park it's time to buckle down. They've laid out a course for their head to head race and the winner will be decided by the most wins out of five races. [00:02:30] And they won't just be flying for bragging rights. Ken: Colby, what are we racing for? Colby: $100 Ken: It's $100 and props for a month. So we are racing for $100 and propellers. That's a lot of propellers. Colby: Three, two, one, go. Female: Heat two, ahhh. Ken: Oh no, no. It's even now guys. Female: [00:03:30] After each winning in one race, Ken and Colby both notched a second win the third and fourth runs. Tying up the score going into the fifth and final race of the evening. Colby: It's two to two right now. Ken: Two - two Colby: That's what we wanted. The sun is setting, we are in Hawaii ... Ken: [00:04:00] Racing for all the props. Colby: $100 on the line, one race, three laps, for the Team Air views crown. This one is going to be a photo finish, guaranteed. Ken: Batter is not happy. Whoa! Colby: Whoa! No! [00:05:00] Are you kidding me? Are you down? Ken: I didn't see you. Let's see who went farther, that is going to be the winner. Colby: Who ever rolls farther is going to win. You better not have rolled farther than me. It's looks like your ... Ken: You son of a bitch. Well the track goes this way. [00:05:30] Oh my God, you can't win on a technicality. That's bullshit. Look what you did to my quad. Look at that. Colby: It's just a prop. Ken: It's ruined. Totally ruined. I think you got it, that was a good race. Colby: It was a good race. Ken: I just wish it didn't end in midair. Colby: That was a good race. Ken: Ahhh, so close. We had two turns left. Colby: I think we were side by side and then you got in front of me. Ken: There is always more mid airs at the end. People are going at it. Colby: I saw him, but it was too late. Ken: I was just an innocent bystander.
