Drone Videos of Beaches, Bikinis, & BFF's

In this video from the Bahamas, AirVūz Cinematographer Jay Christensen partnered with Sports Illustrated model Haley Kalil, and models Catalina Freer and Courtney Byrd to create this aerial film emphasizing the new, dynamic angles those in the fashion industry can expect with the advent of filming with drones.  Prepare to be amazed by the bird's eye views of these beauties frolicking in the warm waters of this archipelago in the South Atlantic Ocean, which cosists of over 700 individual islands.

Zrce Beach, on the Croatia's northern Adriatic Sea coast, has become a prime spring break destination.  This is a place of DJ’s, yachts, water sports, pool parties, and a few adult beverages later.  Wished you hadn't grown up?  Join the fun and watch it all go down with an exclusive view from above.  Contributor Jantrnkaproductions uses a drone to treat us to a bird's eye view of this Mediterranean party paradise, which is still somewhat less well known than the Dalmatian Coast further south.  

Top content creator and pilot iDroneU collaborated with a swimsuit design company to make this amazing drone video of fashion models showing their stuff on a Venezuelan island in the Caribbean Sea.  The video was shot in Los Roques, a group of islands and coral reefs lying a short distance off the northern Venezuelan mainland coast.  Watch this video to get a bird's eye view of a tropical paradise, and you will quickly see why Los Roques is widely considered one of the top beaches in the Caribbean Basin.

Volcanic mountains, endless beaches, and iconic rice paddies make Bali, Indonesia the best destination for BFF's Britt and Maddie!  Contributor and pilot RYZPHOTO and his DJI Inspire drone were able to capture the treasured travel of two best friends in bikinis taking in everything the Indonesian island has to offer.  This short but sweet video will have you Bali dreaming! 

Take Tahiti by drone to ride the waves of the South Pacific with a few gorgeous Kaloea surfer girls. This was a promotional video for the Kaloea Surfing Bikini company, a maker (as the name suggests) of swimsuits for female surfers.  The video also does a great job of promoting the tropical paradise of Tahiti, one of the most well-known of the South Pacific Islands.  Tahiti is the largest of the Society Islands archipelago and the home of over 2/3 of the population of this French-controlled territory in the South Pacific.  

Rottnest Island is situated off the coast of Western Australia, just a short distance due west from Perth, the capital of the state.  Using a DJI Phantom 4 drone and a GoPro Hero 5 mounted to a DJI Osmi, top content creator and pilot Sandrine Hecq gives us an aerial view of an epic boat party held off the island to celebrate the Australia Day holiday.  Held on January 26th every year, the national holiday commemorates the arrival of the first British ships in Sydney Harbor in the 18th century. 

Top contributor, drone pilot and vlogger Sandrine Hecq donned her swimsuit and grabbed her drone, allowing her to create this stunning video from Esperance in the state of Western Australia.  Esperance lies on the southern coastline of this gigantic state, which would be amongst the ten largest countries in the world in land area if it were independent.  And with 80% of its population living in and around Perth (on WA's west coast, over 700 km or 450 mi. from Esperance), that leaves a lot of open spaces to explore.  

The USA state of Minnesota is known as the Land of 10,000 Lakes.  While most of its lakes are in its less populated northern areas, there are some large recreational lakes closer to the state's main population center in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.  The largest is Lake Minnetonka, a 14k acre lake in the western suburbs of Minneapolis that can accommodate thousands of boaters.  In this video, contributor Fit Lam Studios used a drone to capture the Lake Minnetonka boat scene over a July 4th weekend.

Contributor and pilot Kristin Addis brings us this awesome selfie pull-out shot from Ko Yao Yai, in Southern Thailand.  Ko Yao Yai is the larger half of a two island archipelago called Ko Yao.  These islands sit in the middle of Phang Nga Bay, a body of water off the Andaman Sea formed by the provinces of Phuket (to the west), Phang Nga (to the north), and Krabi (to the east).  The two islands together cover a land area of around 150 square km (about 60 square mi.) and have a population of just under 20,000.  

For a look at how drones are changing the business of fashion modeling, check out this video from a famous Mediterranean island by contributor caroladoornbos.  It was shot on the island of Ibiza, one of the Balearic Islands which are part of Spain and are situated in the western Mediterranean Sea.  Home of one of Europe's great party scenes, Ibiza is also closely associated with the fashion and entertainment industries.  The video mixes drone footage of the island with ground footage of a beautiful fashion model.    

Content creator and drone pilot Sandrine Hecq is one of the top travel vloggers; and she has created a huge following for her videos which mix drone and ground camera footage of exotic spots.  In this video, she takes us high above the Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Resort in the Maldives in the Indian Ocean.  Long piers are lined with romantic huts that hover over the crystalline sea, where visitors relax and enjoy the tropical views including dolphins. This remote island paradise is quite the sight from above.

Only in America.  Top AirVuz contributor and pilot Queen of the Drone brings us this fantastic drone footage of a boat parade in support of US President Donald Trump on the eve of the 2020 Presidential election.  The video was shot over the waters of the Gulf of Mexico near Fort Myers, the main city of southwestern Florida.  As has been the case in most of the Presidential elections going back to 2000, the Sunshine State and its 29 electoral votes (as of 2020) is one of the keys to winning the nation's highest office.  

Just when we thought we had seen every imaginable "cinewhoop" scene, top AirVuz contributor and first person view pilot nikofilmz serves up this epic piece, in which he uses a small HD camera-equipped micro-drone to film a beautiful pole-dancer.  With their ducted propellers and light weight, these tiny aircraft can be flown around people with essentially zero risk of serous injury.  It provides an incredible perspective on a sport which began in strip clubs but which has since become a mainstream form of exercise.
