Top AirVuz contributor Sky Candy Studios brings us this stunning first person view (FPV) drone video from Chicago's fabled Wrigley Field.  The video opens with some shots of the area around the stadium, which lies on the city's North Side.  At about the 1:35 mark, you'll head into the stadium itself, which opened in 1914 and has been the home of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs since the 1920's.  With current capacity of just over 41k, Wrigley Field was designated a National Historical Landmark in 2020.

Here's an epic dronelapse view of New York's Yankee Stadium, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Invincible Storm Films.  Home of the most storied team in Major League Baseball, the stadium is situated in the southern part of the Bronx and adjacent to the original 1920's era Yankee Stadium.  Opened in 2012, the stadium seats just over 47,300 fans.  The new version of the House that Ruth Built cost about $2.3 billion to build, making it (easily) the most expensive sports venue in history.

Situated in East Rutherford, New Jersey, just outside of New York City, Met Life Stadium is home to both the New York Jets and Giants National Football League teams.  It seats 82.5k fans for regular NFL games.  By building a stadium for both teams to share, the immense construction costs (US$1.8 billion, a record for a new stadium) could be spread over twice as many home games.  In this video, contributor All Island Aerial flies his drone over this behemouth venue to create this amazing bird's eye view!

Here's a nice aerial view of Levi's Stadium in south San Francisco Bay, compliments of contributor caldroneflyer.  Opened in 2014, the 68,500 seat stadium is the home of the San Francisco 49ers, one of the most storied teams in the National Football League.  It's located in the town of Santa Clara, just north of San Jose.  The stadium replaced Candlestick Park just south of the city of San Francisco, which had also been the home of the San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball team until 2000.

Brand-new AirVuz contributor and pilot Above Summit brings us this fantastic drone video of Boston's Fenway Park, home of Major League Baseball's Boston Red Sox.  The video was shot on the snowy opening day of the 2019 season, which was (fortunately) an "away" game for the Sox.  Opened in 1912, MLB's oldest ballpark is also one of its smallest, with a seating capacity of only 37k.  Located in the Fenway-Kenmore neighborhood along the Charles River, the park was the filming location for the climax of the crime thriller the Town (2010).

Check out this awesome aerial view of Pittsburgh's Heinz Field, courtesy of contributor and pilot Blaze.  He used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to aerially film the home of the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the 2-3 most storied names in the National Football League.  Opened in 2001 on a site adjacent to the old (multi-purpose) Riverfront Stadium across the Ohio River from downtown, Heinz currently seats 68.4k for football (which also includes the University of Pittsburgh Panthers) and up to 75k for concerts.

Check out these beautiful 4k drone views of Atlanta's Mercedes-Benz Stadium, compliments of AirVuz contributor Bumble Bee Productions.  The home of the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, the retractable-roof stadium opened in 2017 on a site adjacent to the old (and now demolished) Georgia Dome, just west of the city's Downtown district.   One of the most expensive stadiums ever built, the venue has normal seating capacity for 71k fans, and can be configured to seat up to 75k.  M-B Stadium hosted Super Bowl LIII in 2019.

PNC Park in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the home of the city's Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball franchise.  The Pirates are one of the oldest teams in baseball, having joined the National League in 1887.  The team played its first season at PNC in 2001, following 30 years at the multi-purpose Three Rivers Stadium which was located nearby, also on the Ohio riverfront.   You can check out the 38,700 seat PNC Park from above in this drone video by Blaze, which was shot with a DJI Mavic Pro 2.

Check out this drone video of one of the most storied stadiums in American football, compliments of Nick McGee.  Soldier Field is situated on the Lake Michigan waterfront of Chicago, Illinois.  Opened in 1924, it's the home of the Chicago Bears, one of the oldest teams in the National Football League.  Soldier Field underwent a substantial renovation in the early 2000's, when most of its interior was demolished.  It currently seats about 61.5k fans, making it one of the smaller stadiums in the NFL.

Check out this drone video of Denver's Coors Field, compliments of contributor and pilot Blaze.  The stadium opened in 1995 as the home of Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies, who played their first two seasons as an expansion team in the original (and now demolished) Mile High Stadium.  Located in the Lower Downtown (LoDo) section on the western side of downtown, the famously home run-friendly park seats about 47k fans for regular games.   Coors Field hosted the 1998 All-Star baseball game.

As part of a colloboration with Major League Baseball, contributor Blaze was given permission to fly out of Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio, a few weeks before the 2019 All Star Game was held here.  The stadium opened as Jacobs Field in 1994, and is the home of the Cleveland Indians.  Its regular seating capacity is a bit under 35k, and it was chosen as the #1 MLB ballpark by fans in a well-respected 2008 survey by Sports Illustrated.  The field sits just to the southeast of downtown Cleveland.

Empower Field at Mile High is the latest name for the home field of the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.  Located just southwest of downtown, the 76k seat stadium opened in 2001.  It's gone under several different names, most of which were variations on the name of the Broncos' first home field: Mile High Stadium, in reference to the city's elevation of over 5k ft. AirVuz contributor hankstahlecker brings us this marvelous one-shot drone view of San Francisco's Oracle Park, the home field of the city's San Francisco Giants Major League Baseball team.  The stadium was named Pac Bell Park when it opened in 2000 and for nearly two decades thereafter until Oracle acquired naming rights in 2019.  The video ends with a dramatic pullback shot over the San Francisco Bay (which lies immediately to the east of the stadium), revealing the city's Financial District to the north of Oracle Park.

Lone Star Drones brings us this aerial view of Houston's NRG Stadium and the now-obsolete adjacent Astrodome.  Originally called Reliant Stadium, the retractable roof NRG opened in 2002 as the home of the Houston Texans of the National Football League.  Seating about 72k fans, it replaced the 60's era multipurpose Astrodome for football.  Once called the world's 8th Wonder, in the 1990's the Astrodome lost its pro football and baseball teams.  Protected by preservation statutes, it lies in an abandoned state.

Top AirVuz contributor and drone pilot brings us this marvelous 4k sunrise aerial view of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Frequently referred to merely as the Superdome, the 73.2k seat stadium (expandable to 76.5k) opened in 1975 as the home field of the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League.  It's hosted seven NFL championship games as of 2019, most recently Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.   Famously, the SuperDome became the shelter of last resort when Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005.

It's gone by several names, but since 2000 the ballpark now known as Minute Maid Park has been the home of Major League Baseball's Houston Astros.  Located on the eastern edge of downtown, the retractable-roof stadium seats just over 41k fans.  The Astros moved here after playing for over 30 years at the multi-purpose Astrodome, and in 2017 they became the first Texas team to win a World Series title.  Nicknamed the Juice Box, you can check it out from above in this drone video by Lone Star Drones.

During the last two weeks of July, 1976, the Canadian city Montreal became the center of the world.  As host city of the 1976 Summer Olympics, Montreal had the added burden of being the first Summer Games host following the terrorism-marred games of Munich four years earlier in which several Israeli athletes were killed.  In this video, contributor realMont Vlog - Montreal gives us a drone's eye view of Olympic Stadium, which was the main venue for the event and became the home stadium for the Montreal Expos baseball team.

Check out these great aerial views of Target Field in Minneapolis, compliments of tylerjmason.  The 38.6k seat stadium opened in 2010 as the new home field of Major League Baseball's Minnesota Twins, who for nearly three decades were confined to indoor baseball at the multi-purpose Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.  The Twins celebrated their tenth season here by winning 101 games, one short of the team record.  The stadium is located in the North Loop neighborhood on the downtown outskirts.

Contributor and drone pilot Zekedrone created this amazing bird's eye views of one of the world's most well recognized football (soccer) stadiums.  La Bombonera stadium is located in Argentina's capital city Buenos Aires.  It's name translates into "Chocolate Box" due to its unusual shape.  It's the home stadium of the Boca Juniors, one of the most popular football teams in South America.  Opened in 1940, the stadium has a seating capacity of about 50,000.  It's been refurbished several times.

Professional drone piloting company GlobalAirMedia was created this amazing drone video of Nigeria's Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in the state of Akwa Ibom, in the southern part of Africa's most populous country.  Built in 2004, the stadium seats about 30k fans.  It's home to a professional football (American soccer) team, and is also used for various cultural and recreational events.  The modern complex was designed to be similar to Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, one of Europe's top football stadiums.

Saint Petersburg's Krestovsky Stadium is a new, super-modern football (American soccer) stadium built on the site of the Kirov Stadium on Krestovsky Island.  With a normal seating capacity of about 68k, it's the home field of the FC Zenit Saint Petersburg football team.  The stadium hosted the Opening Match and Final of the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup.  Contributor flew a drone over this massive new sports facility and created this amazing aerial view of the stadium and its surroundings.

Streamon created this aerial video of India's Salt Lake Stadium (Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan), which hosted the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup football tournament.  With current seating capacity of 85,000, it's the largest in India.  Before its renovation in 2011, it seated 120,000, and was the world's largest football stadium.  In 1997, the stadium packed in almost 132,000 spectators for a tournament, a record which still stands.  Salt Lake Stadium is located in Bidhannagar, part of metropolitan Kolkata.

Terryjames shared this drone video of Doak Campbell Stadium, the home of the Florida State University Seminoles.  It's based on the school's campus in the state capital, Tallahassee. Opened in 1950, for nearly seven decades it's been the home field for one of the most storied college football programs in history.  The stadium, which seats just over 80,000 fans, is known as the largest continuous brick structure in the United States.  It's now technically called Bobby Bowden Field at Doak Campbell Stadium.

The Shah Alam Stadium is situated in the Malaysian state of Selangor, which previously (before an administrative reorganization) also included the city of Kuala Lumpur.  The stadium was built in 1990 and has the capacity to seat a bit over 80k people.    While Shah Alam is primarily used for football (soccer), it serves as the venue for other sports as well.  Contributor Jeremy1975 used a drone to give us a nice aerial tour of this stadium located on the outskirts of the Malaysian capital city.

Contributor gopherdrone used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 to shoot this aerial video of TCF Bank Stadium, a world-class college football stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The 51k seat facility opened in 2009 as the new home of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers football team, which had spent the previous 25+ years sharing the HHH Metrodome with Minnesota's pro baseball and football teams.  The new stadium is located on the site of the old Memorial Stadium, the team's home field from 1924-1981.

Contributor and pilot Alec Smirts created this drone's eye view of Lambeau Field, the home of the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League.  Opened in 1957, the fabled stadium has been modified several times.  It now seats about 81,000 fans for football games, a number which is (astoundingly) equal to about 80% of the population of the city of Green Bay.  The oldest continuously operated NFL stadium, Lambeau Field is generally considered one of the game's 2-3 most hallowed spots.

Contributor and pilot Alex Smirts created this amazing drone video of the largest stadium in the United States - Michigan Stadium, otherwise known as the Big House.  Located in Ann Arbor, about an hour's drive from Detroit, it's the home of the University of Michigan men's football team.  Built in 1927 and expanded several times in the ensuing decades, the stadium now seats almost 108,000 fans, making it the world's second largest stadium.  The venue has seated as many as 115,000 for special events.

Contributor Blaze brings us this excellent aerial view of the home stadiums of the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League.  Since 2018 it's been called State Farm Stadium, and it's in Glendale, about 15 km (around 10 mi.) northwest of downtown Phoenix.  The (expandable) 63.4k stadium opened in 2006, and for most of its life it was called the University of Phoenix Stadium.  It's also hosted major college sports events, such as the Fiesta Bowl and the Final Four basketball championship.

Contributor Brian Priest Aerial Images created this beautiful nighttime aerial tour of one of the largest football (soccer) stadiums in the United Kingdom.  The Stadium of Light is based Sunderland, a suburb of Newcastle in the heart of the rabid UK football culture in North East England.  The 49,000 seat stadium is the home of the Sunderland A.F.C., which plays in League One of the English Football League.  The stadium is the eighth largest overall in the United Kingdom by seating capacity.

Here's an excellent drone video of Guaranteed Rate Field, home of the Chicago White Sox Major League Baseball team.  Opened in 1991, the 40.6k stadium replaced Comiskey Park, the home of the city's American League team for the prior 81 years.  Sometimes called Comiskey Park II, it's located just off the Dan Ryan Expressway on the city's South Side, across the street from its now-demolished predecessor.  On October, 2005, the stadium hosted Games 1-2 of the World Series, which the White Sox went on to win for their first Championship since 1917.

Moscow's VTB Stadium is one of the city's main sporting venues.  It includes both a football stadium and a hockey arena.  Opened in late 2018 at a cost of about US$1.5 billion, it's built on the site of the old Dynamo Stadium northwest of the center city, just outside the second ring road.  The stadium's "official" capacity is 27k, although it can be adjusted to accommodate as many as 45k fans; the ice arena can hold between 12-15k fans depending on configuration.  You can check out the modern marvel from above in this drone video by nikybwd.

Check out these drone views of the Olympic Stadium of Athens, Greece, compliments of  It's part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex in Marousi, northeast of the center of the Greek capital city.  The stadium was the primary venue for the 2004 Summer Olympics.  The stadium is also called Spyros Louis, in honor of the winner of the first modern Olympics marathon, which was held in Athens in 1996.  The stadium was originally completed in 1982 but underwent substantial alteration (including a renaming) in connection with the Games.

Check out this aerial video of Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe, Arizona, compliments of contributor and drone pilot Blaze.  The home field of the Arizona State University Sun Devils men's football team, it's located about 18 km (around 11 mi.) southeast of downtown Phoenix.  The 53.6k seat stadium just completed a major, US$300MM renovation.  It was the home of the Phoenix Cardinals of the National Football League from 1988-2005.  It was the venue for the Fiesta Bowl for 35 years and later the Cactus Bowl.

Pepsi Center is the main indoor sporting venue in Denver, Colorado.  It's home to the Nuggets of the National Basketball League and the Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League.  It's also the city's primary indoor concert arena.  It currently seats about 19.5k fans for basketball and about 10% fewer for hockey.  Located in the downtown area roughly between Coors Field and Mile High Stadium, the stadium opened in 1997.  You can see it from above in this drone video by Blaze.

Check out this drone video of Portugal's biggest football (soccer) stadium, compliments of flyingbydaniel: the Estádio da Luz in Lisbon.  It's the home of the S.L. Benfica club, which competes in the top-flight Primeira Liga league. The stadium opened in 2003, replacing an older facility of the same name.  The stadium seats just under 65k fans, putting it amongst the top 25 in Europe.  In a survey conducted by the French sporting publication in 2014, it was voted as Europe's most beautiful stadium.

SkyCandy Studios worked with the Minnesota Timberwolves of the National Basketball Associate (NBA) to produce this awesome aerial view of the newly renovated Target Center, the team's home arena.  Located in downtown Minneapolis, the arena opened in 1990 for the expansion team's second season.  In 2017, Target Center underwent a complete renovation, a project which cost roughly 40% more than the arena's initial construction cost.  Its current capacity is almost 19,000 for basketball.

AirVuz contributor Bumble Bee Productions brings us this excellent drone video of Tennessee's Neyland Stadium, one of the USA's largest college football stadiums.  The home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers, it's situated on the school's main campus in Knoxville.  Originally dating to 1921, the stadium has been expanded several times in the ensuing century.  It now seats about 102.5k fans, putting it in the #4 spot amongst the USA's college football stadiums and amongst the half-dozen largest non-racing stadiums in the world.

Check out this fantastic drone video of Oriole Park at Camden Yards baseball stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, compliments of AirVuz contributor Polaris.Aerial.Media.  The home of the Majo League Baseball team the Baltimore Orioles, the park was completed in 1992.  It was the first in what became a wave of "retro" styled baseball-only stadiums that replaced many of the dual-use facilities built from the 1950's-1980's.   The 45k seat stadium was also critical to the redevelopment of the nearby Inner Harbor area of the city.

Bumble Bee Productions created this excellent aerial view of Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.  It's the home of the Tigers men's football team of Louisiana State University, the state's largest university.  Built in 1924 and originally seating just 12k, its capacity has been expanded over 8x since then.  It now seats a bit over 102k fans, making it the fifth-largest of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) stadiums by capacity and one of the ten largest non-racing stadiums in the world.

Check out this drone video of San Francisco's just-completed Chase Center, compliments of contributor FlyinCameras.  The 18k seat arena opened in September, 2019 as the new home of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball League, NBA Champions in three of the five seasons beginning with the 2014-15 season.  Chase Center is located in the Mission Bay area, just south of the Bay Bridge.   Prior to the 2019-2020 NBA season, the team had played at Oracle Arena in Oakland for nearly five decades.

While FAA rules forbid drone flights over Major League Baseball games, there are no such rules on days when no games are played.  While access to the stadium is controlled by its owners, a drone pilot with the right connections can create an aerial video of the venue.  Contributor Robby Incmakowski, a TV sports reporter, was at Petco Park in San Diego when he created this epic bird's eye view of the $450 million stadium.  Home of the San Diego Padres, the 2004 vintage park seats just over 40,000.

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot New Entertainment Pictures brings us this fantastic drone video of one of Germany's most well-known football stadiums: Mercedes-Benz Arena in Stuttgart.  The original stadium dates to 1933.  It has since been heavily modified on numerous occasions, most recently in a major facelift which was completed in 2011.  Easily recognizable by its unique fabric roof, the venue holds up to about 60k fans, limited to about 55k for international matches.  Its home team is VfB Stuttgart, part of the Bundesliga League.
