Aragon is an autonomous region of north central Spain. It is comprised of the provinces of Huesca, Zaragoza, and Teruel. Aragon was one of the core historical regions which came together to form modern Spain in the 15th and 16th centuries, although it maintains a distinctive culture. The region is characterized by a mostly mountainous landscape, which transitions into the Pyrenees Mountains in the north. It features spectacular natural scenery including magnificent rock formations and yawning canyons, famous castles, monasteries, and other important historical sites. Here is a collection of the best drone videos from Aragon, which Lonely Planet recently deemed Spain's Most Underrated Region; note that the collection also includes videos from the tiny neighboring region of Navarre.
