Spain : Lands of Mist, Cliffs, and Light

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Top AirVuz contributor Ananda Joinet earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from the Aragon region of northern Spain.  The video opens with shots of the Mallos de Riglos, a set of rock formations located in the municipality of Las Peñas de Riglos in the province of Huesca.  Next up is the Wall of Finestres, which is not a man-made wall but rather a wall-shaped formation, located on the eastern edge of Huesca.  Last up is the Bardenas Reales, a "badlands" area in the neighboring province of Navarre.

Northern Spain is home to some of Europe's most spectacular yet little-known landscapes. Close to the Pyrenees mountains, erosion has shaped impressive rock formations, monumental cliffs, and unique desert landscapes over thousands of years.
