MUST-SEE VIDEOS (2025)

Take an aerial tour of the great city of Brussels, Belgium, compliments of former DVOW Winner dronesantana007.  The video opens with a beautiful shot of the Brussels Town Hall, which towers over the city's Grand-Place central square.  Starting at :51, there's a long shot heading towards the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula, which lies to the east of the Grand-Place and which took on its current form in the 16th century.  At 2:15, you'll see the Royal Palace of Brussels, the official residence of the King and Queen of Belgium.   

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist DroneDirector brings us this fantastic drone video of a tiny island in Denmark's Faroe Islands archipelago.  Koltur is situated just west of the southern tip of Stemoy, the largest island in the chain.  The island is inhabited by about 160 sheep and zero humans, having been abandoned in the 1980's.  A breeding site for seagulls, the island has been designated as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International, a global nonprofit partnership dedicated to avian conservancy.  

Top contributor mikereidphotography brings us this stunning drone video of Sydney, Australia.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3, the video opens with a long shot flying southwards towards the Central Business District, with the Harbor Bridge on the left.  This shot ends at about the 1:20 mark with a great view of Crown Sydney, the city's tallest skyscraper as of 2025.   In the next shot, filmed at dusk and starting at about 1:24, you'll be flying north and facing east, with a reveal of the Opera House at about 2:15. 

AirVuz contributor DanielDrone123 used a DJI Mini 4 Pro drone to create this excellent video of Bern, the capital city of Switzerland.  At the 1:05 mark, there's a shot looking up the Aare River towards the Gothic Bern Minster, Switzerland's tallest cathedral, which dates to the early 15th century.  At :33, you'll get a nice view of the Federal Palace of Switzerland (the Bundeshaus); the green-domed building is the seat of the national parliament and was built in stages during the 19th century.   

Former DVOW Finalist 21Aerials brings us this excellent drone video from Los Angeles, California.  The video opens with a shot looking west towards downtown over the Sixth Street Viaduct, which spans the Los Angeles River near the Arts District.  At the :26 mark, you'll see Venice Beach, and startings at :34 there are a series of daytime/nighttime timelapse shot over the city's legendary freeways.  At 1:24, there's a shot of downtown from the northwest.  Other highlights include the canals of Venice (1:36), Echo Park (2:02), and more.  

Explore Scotland's Isle of Skye as it's covered by early winter snow, compliments of AirVuz contributor Rob Bates Photography.  The video opens with shots of the Quiraing, a "landslip" rock formation on Trotternish, the island's northernmost peninsula.  At the :39 mark, you'll see the Quiraing's "Needle" rock pillar.  At 1:29, you'll see Mealtfalls, a waterfall (also on the Trotternish), which drops directly into the sea over a cliff.  Just after 2:00, there's a beautiful shot looking between two of the island's mountains.  

See some of the highlights of southern Italy in this excellent drone video from AirVuz contributor koszoandras_photography.  The video opens with a beautiful shot of the harbor of Naples, with Mt. Vesuvius in the background.  At the :05 mark, you'll see the Piazza del Plebiscito, the main square of Naples, followed by a view of the Castel Sant'Elmo, the hilltop fortress overlooking the city.  Starting at 1:30, you'll head to Pompei, the ancient ruins site located southeast of Naples, on the other side of Vesuvius.   

Check out these stunning drone views of Italy's South Tyrol province, compliments of Santiago.  Somewhat confusingly, South Tyrol is the southernmost of the two provinces which make up the Trentino-Alto-Adigio region in the northeastern part of the country.  The province is covered almost entirely by the Dolomite Mountains, which are part of the Southern Limestone Alps and which feature peaks of up to about 11k ft. above sea level or around 3.35k m.  The Dolomites extend into the neighboring Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist mikereidphotography brings us this fantastic drone video of Seattle's famous Space Needle.  Filmed on a foggy day at sunrise, the video features some great shots of the observation tower popping up through the clouds, with the Downtown core behind it (to the south) and snow-capped Mt. Rainier off in the distance.  The Space Needle was built for the 1962 World's Fair; when it opened, it was the tallest structure west of the Mississippi River.  It stands 605 ft. tall (184 m).  

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor Majd Saaida brings us this stunning drone video from the Dolomite Mountains in northeastern Italy.  The Dolomites are a sub-chain of the Southern Limestone Alps.  Featuring peaks of up to about 11k ft. above sea level (around 3.35k m), the Dolomites are known for their distinctive gray carbonate rock formations and sharp ridges.  They are spread over several provinces in Italy's Trentino-Alto-Adigio, Veneto, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist 21Aerials brings us this fantastic drone video from San Francisco, California.  At the :16 mark, there's a great view of the Financial District, with the Transamerica Pyramid (the city's tallest from 1972-1917) in the foreground and Salesforce Tower (the tallest as of 2025) in the background.  From there, it's on to the Golden Gate Bridge, and at :58 (and again at 1:29) there's a twilight view of the Financial District, with the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge off to the left.  

Top AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio brings us this excellent drone video of a well-known monument on the northwestern coast of Spain.  It's called the Virgin of the Rock (Virxe da Rocha), and it's located atop a small mountain overlooking the town of  Baiona in Pontevedra, one of the four provinces which make up the Galicia region in the northwestern corner of the country.  The monument was completed in 1930, following a two decade contruction period.  The monument stands about 50 ft. (15 m) high.    

Ride along with top AirVuz contributor salva.tours for this marvelous first person view (FPV) drone exploration of the coast of southern Portugal.  The video was filmed near the town of Lagos, one of the main cities of the Algarve region that covers the southernmost portion of mainland Portugal.  One of Portugal's top tourist destinations, this area is famous for its stunning cliffs, giant offshore rock formations, and semi-hidden cove beaches, all of which feature prominently in the video.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner davetke2002 brings us this stunning drone video from the famous Serengeti of Tanzania, Africa.  The video was filmed over mingling herds of zebra's and wildebeest, both of which are native only to eastern and southern Africa.  The Serengeti covers about 12k square mi. (around 30k square km) in the northern part of the country.  It is the home of the world's largest annual animal migration, which typically encompasses over a quarter million zebra's and roughly seven times that many wildebeest. 

Multiple DVOW Finalist benhawkinsalive used a DJI Mavic Pro 3 to create this stunning aerial video of the coast of Cornwall, England.  The southwesternmost county of England, for centuries Cornwall has been synonymous with British seafaring culture.  The video was filmed during the course of a winter storm, for which the Cornish coast is also famous.  If you watch the slow-motion shots demonstrating the power of the waves crashing into the shoreline, you'll understand why Cornwall's coast has been the scene of thousands of shipwrecks. 

AirVuz contributor VeronikaChi brings us this excellent drone video of Canada's tallest lighthouse.  The Cap-des-Rosiers Lighthouse is located near the eastern tip of the Gaspé Peninsula in Quebec, at the mouth of the St. Lawrence River.  Constructed in 1858, it stands 112 ft (34 m) tall, making it visible up to 28 mi. (44 km) away in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.  Automated since 1981, it's been designated as a National Historic Site of Canada as well as a Federal Heritage Building by the Canadian government.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist 21Aerials brings us this fantastic drone video from Cape Town, South Africa, one of the world's most beautiful cities.  Teh video opens with a shot of Lion's Head, a prominent mountain just west of central Cape Town.  At the :13 mark, you'll see the city's Atlantic Ocean coastline, and at :18 there's a nice nighttime shot of the city's skyline.  At :38, you'll see the Cape Wheel, just east of Green Point Park, and at :43 you'll see Cape Town Stadium, the city's largest.  

Top AirVuz contributor 21Aerials brings us this fantastic drone video of Budapest, Hungary.  The video opens with a shot of the Liberty Bridge (Freedom Bridge), followed by a view of the nearby St. Gerard Sagredo Statue.  Starting at around the :12 mark, there's a stunning low light timelapse shot flying up the Danube River.  At :21, you'll see Buda Castle, on the western (Buda) side of the river, followed by the Ferris Wheel of Budapest.  At :47, there's a spectacular shot of the Parliament Building, on the Pest (eastern) Danube bank.

Enjoy these FPV drone views of Bosnia and Herzegovina, compliments of AnemosFPV.  The video opens with a shot of some horses running along the Panonian Plain in northern Bosnia, followed by some shots from the mountains.  Starting at the :25 mark, you'll see the medieval town of Mostar and its famous bridge ((Stari Most), across the the Neretva River, followed by a fly-by of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque in Sarajevo.  Other highlights include Prokoško Lake (1:41), Blidinje Lake (2:00), the clock tower in the town of Travnik (3:14), and more.  

Check out this stunning first person view (FPV) drone ride along a ridge in the Spanish Pyrenees, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot VictorLS1990.  Filmed in a single shot, the video will take you along the top of the ridge known as Serra dels Canals, descending all the way down to the Pantà d'Oliana reservoir (part of the Segre River) near the town of Oliana in Lleida, one of the provinces of the Catalonia region.  The mountains here are part of the Turp range, one of several chains which form the Pre-Pyrenees Mountains.  

Here's an amazing view of one of Mexico's famous Colima volcano, compliments of former DVOW Finalist Gabriele Ante.  Known locally as Volcán de Colima or Volcán de Fuego, it's located on the border between the states of Colima and Jalisco in the west-central part of Mexico.  Colima is one of the most active volcanoes in the world, having erupted at least 40 times in recorded history.  With a peak elevation of about 12.5k ft. (3.8k m) it's part of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt which runs through the middle of the country.  

In this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by salva.tours, you'll cruise the coast around one of the most famous beaches in Portugal.  Ursa Beach (Praia da Ursa) is located in the heart of the Portuguese Riviera, the stretch of Atlantic coastline west and northwest of Lisbon.  Ursa Beach is distinguished by the giant rock formations which sit just off the shore, which are thoroughly explored in the video.  Praia da Ursa is considered the most westerly beach on the mainland of Europe.  

In this video, former Drone Video of the Week Finalist nayyar2006 continues his aerial tour of Austria.  The video opens with shots from Hohe Tauern National Park in East Tyrol, which is home to a number of peaks and valleys of the High Tauern range (part of the Eastern Alps).  At the 2:27 mark, you'll see the Felsenkapelle cliff chapel, which is built into the side of a mountain (also in East Tyrol).  Starting at 4:24, there's an amazing shot flying through a mountain valley during a snowstorm.  

Check out this magnificent drone video of Berlin, Germany by top contributor dronesantana007.  The video opens with a shot of the Berlin Cathedral, the largest protestant church in the country.  At the :31 mark, you'll fly past Berlin's reddish-brown City Hall (Rotes Rathaus), with the old city hall (Altes Stadthaus) in the background.  At :53, you'll fly over the spires of the St. Nicholas Church, and at 2:07 you'll see the Bebelplatz square.  Other locations include the Berlin TV Tower (2:14), the Humboldt Forum (4:04), and more.  

Explore Osaka, Japan from above in this excellent drone video by top AirVuz contributor 21Aerials.  The video opens with a shot looking towards the Abeno Harukas tower complex, which stands 984 ft. tall (300 m) and is the tallest skyscraper in Japan's third-largest city.  Starting at the :39 mark, there's a great nighttime timelapse shot flying over the center of the city, which lies in the Kansai Region of southern Honshu and is the center of the Keihanshin region which also includes the nearby cities of Kyoto and Kobe.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist timoksanen brings us this excellent wintertime video from Finland's Lapland region.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone and supplemental ground cameras, the video was filmed in Kolari and Muonio in Fell Lapland, the area in the northwestern corner of the country which borders Sweden to the west and norway to the north.  Both Kolari and Muonio are on the western edge of the region, bordering Sweden, and well within the Arctic Circle.  The video was filmed in February of 2025.  

AirVuz contributor Francisco Rodrigues brings us this excellent drone video of one of the natural wonders of the Portuguese island of Madeira: the waterfall known as Miradouro da Garganta Funda.  It's located near the western tip of the island, which lies off the coast of North Africa.  The waterfall is accessible via a roughly one-third mile (.6k) walk from the village of Pedregal.  The falls stand about 460 ft. tall (around 140 m).  The video also features some nice footage of the nearby Atlantic Ocean coast.  

Top AirVuz contributor rezarafizadeh brings us this excellent springtime video from northern Iran.  In stark contrast to the desert and near-desert landscape of much of the country, the northern part of Iran is covered by forested mountains known as the Alborz, which run roughly parallel to the Caspian Sea and cover much of the provinces of Gilan and Mazandaran.  As you'll see in the video, these lands bear closer to resemblance to the Caucasus Mountains or even the Alps in Europe than to central and southern Iran.  

Former DVOW Winner dronesantana007 brings us this fantastic drone video of Osaka, Japan's third-largest city.  The video opens with a shot flying up the Aji River, past the Tempozan Ferris Wheel and towards the bridge of the same name.  At the 1:16 mark, you'll see the Minato Bridge, which features the third-longest  cantilever truss span in the world.  Just before 2:00, there's a shot further up the Aji River, where it flows through the central part of the city.  Other highlights include Osaka Castle (first seen at 2:32).

Check out these fantastic drone views of the sunrise in Sydney, Australia by former DVOW Finalist Gizmo Drones.  At the :18 mark, a single shot captures two of the city's greatest landmarks: the Opera House (foreground) and the Harbor Bridge (background).   At :389, you'll get a nice view looking southwest towards the city's skyline from a spot roughly over the Opera House, and at :50 you'll see the Government House just south of the Opera House.  Other highlights include Darling Harbor (1:58), the W Hotel (2:27), and more.  

Brand-new contributor ask-TV.de brings us this stunning drone travel video from Southeast Asia.  The video opens with shots of the volcanic Mt. Bromo, on the eastern side of the Indonesian island of Java.  The next stop is Mt. Kelimutu, another Indonesian volcano, this one on the island of Flores.  At about the 2:20 mark, you'll see Mt. Kelud back in East Java, and at 3:10 you'll head to Nong Han Kumphawapi Lake in northern Thailand.  Other locations include Indonesia's Komodo National Park, the Mekong River in Thailand, and more. 

While Southeastern Brazil may be best known for its cities (São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, by far the country's two largest), it's also home to the country's tallest mountains.  In this excellent video by former Drone Video of the Week Finalist LPHOTO TRILHAS E MONTANHAS, you'll explore some of the country's alpine landscapes.  The video features footage from the Serra da Mantiqueira (including Itatiaia National Park) and Bocaina ranges, which cover parts of the southeastern states of São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro..  

AirVuz contributor fdescds92 used a DJI Mini 4 Pro to create this beautiful aerial video of some scenic spots in northern Norway.  Most of the video was filmed along the Helgelandskysten, a scenic route which runs a roughly north-south route along Norway's Atlantic Ocean coastline in Nordland County, from the town of Holm in the south to the village of Godøystraumen in the north.  The northern part of the route lies within the Arctic Circle, a bit to the east of the southern end of the Lofoten Islands.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist and pilot Gustavo Quiroga brings us this fantasti drone video from the Andes Mountains in Argentina.  The video was filmed over the provinces of Mendoza, Neuquén, and Rio Negro, which run along the eastern slopes of the great mountain chain in the middle latitudes of the country (Rio Negro actually extends eastwards all the way to the Atlantic Ocean, while the other two provinces are landlocked).  The video was filmed with a DJI Air 3 and a DJI Mini Pro 3 drone.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Ádám Katona // filmingdrones
  brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video from the Portuguese island of Madeira, which lies off the coast of North Africa.  The video alternates between scenes of some of the most iconic Madeira topography, including interior mountains that run up to 6.1k ft. above sea level (just under 1.9k m), subtropical rainforests such as the Fanal Forest on the island's western side, and giant offshore rock formations along its coasts.  

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Finalist DroneDirector brings us this stunning drone video from Denmark's Faroe Islands.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 drone in and around the village of Leirvik, which lies on the eastern side of the island of Eysturoy, the second-largest in the archipelago (whether measured by population or land area).  Leirvik is connected by an underwater tunnel to Klaksvík on the neighboring island of Borðoy; Klaksvík is the second-largest settlement in the islands.  

Check out these beautiful springtime first person view (FPV) drone views of the tiny East European country of Moldova, compliments of AirVuz contributor Sidsmith85.  Formerly part of the Soviet Union, Moldova emerged as an independent country in the wake of the dissolution of the USSR in the early 1990's.  Situated between Ukraine and Romania, much of the landlocked country is part of the Moldovan Plateau, a highland area just to the east of the Carpathian Mountains which also covers parts of northeastern Romania and southwestern Ukraine.

For a first upload to AirVuz, brand-new contributor DroneyMak brings us this fantastic drone video of the Litli-Hrútur volcano in Iceland.  Litli-Hrútur is part of the Fagradalsfjall volcanic system on the Reykjanes Peninsula (in the island's southwestern corner) which began erupting in 2021.  The Litli-Hrútur eruptions began in early July of 2023 with a series of earthquakes followed by an initial lava breakthrough about a week later.  The initial eruptions here saw larger lava flow than the 2021 and 2022 Fagradalsfjall eruptions.  

Get a bird's-eye perspective of one of the most famous peaks in the French Alps with this fantastic first person view (FPV) mountain surfing video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot AirFineProd.  The mountain is called Aiguille du Dru, and it's part of the Mont Blanc Massif, home of the highest peak in the entire Alps system.  Aiguille du Dru has a peak elevation of about 12.3k ft. above sea level (around 3.75k m).  It's situated a bit to the northeast of Mt. Blanc, roughly halfway between the village of Chamonix and the Italian border.  

Former DVOW Winner ArturCarvalho brings us this fantastic drone video of the legendary surfing waves in Nazaré, Portugal.  Located about 70 mi. (around 120 km) north of Lisbon in the Centro Region, Nazaré known for some of the largest waves ever surfed: in early 2018, a Portuguese surfer caught a wave here thought to be as high as 115 ft. (35 m).  Nazaré is the heart of a longer stretch of beaches called the Silver Coast, which is commonly regarded as the best (if also the most challenging) surfing spot in Europe.  

Enjoy thes drone views of the mountains of Portugal, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Timearth.  The video was filmed over the Serra da Estrela, a system of mountains which runs over a portion of north-central Portugal and which is part of the Sistema Central, a chain of mountains which form an arc through the Iberian Peninsula.  The Serra da Estrela is home to the highest peak of mainland Portugal, the Torre, which has a summit elevation of just over 6.5k ft. (about 1.95k m) above sea level.  

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Gustavo Quiroga used a DJI Mini Pro 3 to create this excellent drone video from southern Argentina.  The video was filmed in and around the city of Bariloche, the largest urban concentration in the province of Río Negro.  Río Negro is (along with its western neighbor,  Neuquén) one of the two northernmost of Argentinian Patagonia, the eastern half of the broader Patagonian region (shared with Chile) that sits at the southern tip of the South American continent.  

Former DVOW Finalist Valsoiapg brings us this excellent drone video from the city of Rome, Italy.  The video opens with a shot looking towards the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, followed by a first person view (FPV) drone fly-by of the ancient Colosseum.  At the :34 mark, you'll see the statues atop the VE Monument, and at :48 you'll see the distinctive round dome of the Pantheon.  Other featured locations include the Spanish Steps (1:01), the Mausoleum of Hadrian (1:13), the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran (1:27), and more.  

One of the most iconic spots from the Indonesian province of Bali is not on the island itself but rather on the tiny "satellite" island of Nusa Penida.  In this excellent drone video by PandK, you'll see this tropical paradise from above.  FIlmed with a DJI Mini 3 Pro, the video will take you over Nusa Penida, which covers about 80 square mi. (around 203 square km) which lies just across the Badung Strait from the southeastern coast of the main island.  The video features footage of Broken Beach, Kelingking Beach, and more.

Top contributor AlexCarboniFPV brings us this FPV drone tour of one of the most iconic spots in Rome, Italy: the area around the Spanish Steps.  Built in the early 1700's, the 135 steps connect the Piazza di Spagna to the Piazza Trinità dei Monti.  The video features outstanding footage of the steps themselves as well as their most famous surrounding landmarks: the Fontana della Barcaccia, a fountain in the Piazza di Spagna (near the base of the steps), and the white Trinità dei Monti, a Renaissance era church at the top of the steps.   

Top AirVuz contributor antonchayka brings us this excellent south-to-north aerial mini-tour of Portugal.  The video opens with shots of the Algarve, the southern region famous for its cove beaches and spectacular rock formations.  At the :53 mark, you'll see the 25 de Abril Bridge in Lisbon, followed by the Dom Luís I Bridge, which spans the Douro River in the northern city of Porto.  At :58, you'll see the seaside town of Azenhas do Mar, which lies on the Portuguese Riviera in the province of Sintra, just to the northwest of Lisbon.  

Take a tour of the legendary trails of the Portuguese island of Madeira, compliments of AirVuz contributor Yannek.   Located off the coast of Northern Africa, Madeira (which had been previously uninhabited) was Portugal's first "overseas" conquest at the dawn of its Age of Discovery which began in the early 15th century. Filmed with a DJI Air 3 drone, the video will take you over this subtropical paradise, which is known for its stunning interior mountains and rainforests, waterfalls, and spectacular coastal cliffs.  

Explore the beauty of the Cascade Mountains in the Pacific Northwest in this outstanding aerial video by former DVOW Finalist mikereidphotography.  The video was filmed with a DJI Mavic Pro 3 around Washington Pass, which sits at an elevation of just under 5.5k ft. above sea level (around 1.65k m) in the North Cascades in the state of Washington.  The video features footage of Liberty Bell, the Early Winters Spires, Kangaroo Peak, Silver Star, and more.  Washhington Pass and adjacent Rainy Pass are both crossed by Washington Route 20.  

Top AirVuz contributor Makhorov won the Drone Video of the Week contest in May of 2025 with this fantastic drone video of humpback whales.  The video manages to capture a group of the giant mammals creating "bubble nets", which is an instinctive feeding process unique to humpback and Bryde's whales.  Bubble net feeding may be undertaken by lone whales or (as in the video) by groups of whales acting in concert.  Essentially the whale(s) use bubbles to "corral" small fish prey by creating a "net" of bubbles to contain them.  

Top AirVuz contributor T-christ-T brings us this fantastic drone reel from China.  The video opens with shots from around the country, including some of its groundbreaking modern bridges.  At the :22 mark, you'll see the Shanghai Tower and the Shanghai World Financial Tower, the two tallest buildings (as of 2025) in the country's commercial capital.  At 1:13, you'll see the Raffles City complex in Chongqing, the country's largest inland city.  Other highlights include Shanghai's Pearl Oriental Tower, Shanghai Stadium, and more.  

Top AirVuz contributor SB Drone Sessions was picked as  DVOW Finalist for this fantastic aerial tour of Sydney, Australia.  Filmed with the new DJI Mavic Pro 4, the video opens with a shot of the Harbor Bridge, one of Australia's most well-recognized landmarks.  At the :08 mark, there's a great shot looking past the Opera House towards the skyline, and at :31 there's another great view from the same general area, with a cruise ship passing in the foreground.  At :52, you'll see the gleaming Crown Sydney, the city's tallest skyscraper.   

Multiple Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner MANUEL BASSIL brings us this fantastic FPV drone video from the Persian Gulf emirate of Dubai.  The video starts with a fly-through of the donut-shaped structure atop the Museum of the Future, which opened in 2022.  From there, in a single shot, you'll fly to the top of the 69 story Al Yaqoub Tower, which lies just to the southwest of the museum.  Completed in 2013, the skyscraper stands nearly 1.1k ft. tall (328 m) and is one of the most distinctive-looking towers in the Dubai skyline.  

Prepare to be blown away by this first person view (FPV) drone flight through an impossibly tight canyon in Utah, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot OhverheadMedia - Orion Herman.  The flight will take you through one of the region's "slot canyons", which are found throughout the Southwestern USA.  These canyons, formed by the unique deposition and erosion patterns of the area, often have depth-to-width ratios of up to 100-to-1, which make for some challenging flying conditions to say the very least! 

In this FPV drone video by AirVuz contributor AlexCarboni FPV, you'll take an aerial tour of one of the most important buildings in Rome, Italy: the Castel Sant'Angelo.  Also known as Hadrian's Mausoleum in reference to the Emperor who ordered its construction in the second century AD, the structure is located on the northern side (right bank) of the Tiber River, just east of the Vatican City.  Originally a tomb, it was later converted to a fortress due to its strategic location, and during the Middle Ages it was a papal residency.  

Check out this fantastic drone video from the region of Italy's Lake Garda, compliments of AirVuz contributor Michael Haubold.  The largest lake in Italy, Lago di Garda covers parts of three provinces in the Trentino-Alto-Adigio, Lombardy, and Veneto Regions.  Locations featured in the video include Monte Baldo, on the lake's eastern side (at the :54 mark); Sirmione Castle, at Garda's southern end (1:00); the town of Limone Sul Garda, on the lake's western shoreline (1:20, and again at ); Lago d'Iseo, a neighboring lake (2:17); and more. 

Top contributor koszoandras_photography brings us this stunning drone video of the ancient Italian town of Matera.  Matera is located on the banks of the Gravina River in the Basilicata region near the "ankle" of Peninsular Italy.  The well-preserved town has appeared as a filming location for numerous feature movies, including the 2004 epic the Passion of the Christ and later the 2021 James Bond movie No Time to Die.  Most of the video was filmed over the Sassi di Matera, two districts of the city which essentially form its Old Town.  

Top AirVuz contributor David L brings us this excellent drone video of one of the hubs of Greater Miami's legendary recreational boating culture: Haulover Sandbar.  Located on the interior (Biscayne) side of North Miami Beach, the sandbar is a magnet for many of the tens of thousands of pleasure boats which call the Gold Coast home.  The area is one of the most well-protected areas of Biscayne Bay, and its proximity to the Haulover Inlet (also featured prominently in the video) affords easy access to the Atlantic Ocean.

Top AirVuz contributor Airviewstudio brings us this marvelous drone video of one of Spain's most spectacular beaches.  It's called Beach of the Cathedrals (Playa de las Catefrales), and it's located in the province of Lugo in the northwestern region of Galicia.  Also known as the Beach of the Holy Waters (Praia de Augas Santas), it's about six mi. (ten km) west of the town of Ribadeo.  Protected as a Natural Monument under Spanish conservation laws, the beach is known for its natural arches and caves.  

The city of Venice, Italy is virtually synonymous with canals - about 150 of them, which cover a total length of around 150 mi. or 250 km.  In this outstanding first person view (FPV) drone video by top contributor Yphilippe, you'll get a unique perspective of the Venice canal system, which features over 400 bridges and are the lifeblood connecting Venice's roughly 120 separate islands and enabling it to function as a single city.  This video was picked as a Drone Video of the Week Finalist and also made the FPV Pilots to Watch list.  

Top contributor dronesantana007 brings us this excellent aerial video of the historic Japanese city of Nara.  Located in the Kansai region of southern Honshu (the largest and most populous of the Japanese islands), Nara was the capital of Japan during most of the 8th century AD.  The "star" of the video is the Tōdai-ji, a Buddhist temple which was constructed during Nara's time as the Japanese capital and is one of Seven Great Temples, a series of temples in and around the city which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.   

Top contributor dronesantana007 brings us this excellent drone video of the city of Antwerp, Belgium.  The video opens with shots of the area around the Museum aan de Stroom, just north of the historic city core along the Scheldt River.  Starting just before the 1:00 mark, there's a long shot looking towards the city core, with the Cathedral of Our Lady, a Gothic church which dates to the 14th century and which remains the city's tallest structure.  Other highlights include St. Paul's Church, best seen in the foreground at around 1:45.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot AlexCarboniFPV earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic FPV from Rome, Italy.  The video was filmed in and around the Victor Emmanuel II Monument, one of the city's most famous landmarks.  Situated between the Piazza Venezia and Capitoline Hill, the monument is dedicated to the king who presided during the creation of the modern state of Italy.  Its construction began in the 1880's but was not completed until the 1930's.  

Top AirVuz contributor nayyar2006 brings us this excellent drone video of the walled medieval town of San Gimignano  in Tuscany, Italy.  San Gimignano is situated in Siena, one of the nine Tuscan provinces.  Famous for its Romanesque and Gothic architecture, the town center has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  It's known as the Town of Five Towers, for reasons which will be evident when you see the video.  It's also known for its distinctive dry aged ham, pecorino cheese, and its Vernaccia di San Gimignano white wine.  

Top AirVuz contributor mikereidphotography used a DJI Mavic Pro 4 to create this stunning drone video from a remote island in Indonesia.  The video was filmed over and around Piaynemo Island, which forms part of the Raja Ampat archipelago.  Piaynemo is much smaller than the four main islands of Raja Ampat, which consists of over 1,500 islands and cays (many of which are uninhabited) in the province of Southwest Papua, west of the giant island of New Guinea in the eastern part of the massive Indonesian archipelago.  

Top AirVuz contributor Dronescapes Ireland created this stunning video of highlight drone footage from the ancient ruins of Loughcrew, Ireland.  Situated in County Meath, an inland county in the eastern part of the island, the area is known for its hilltop tombs which sit atop a prominent hill.  One of just four passage tomb sites identified in Ireland, Loughcrew dates to the 4th millennium  BC - over 5,000 years ago.  One of Ireland's great cultural treasures, the area including the tombs and the hill is known as Slieve na Calliagh.

Check out this fantastic drone video of an erupting Mt. Etna in Italy, compliments of AirVuz contributor pioandreaperi.  A DVOW Finalist, the video was filmed during a periodic eruption of the mountain on the island of Sicily in September, 2025.  With a peak altitude of about 11.2k ft. above sea level (3.4k m), It's one of the world's most active volcanoes, with minor eruptions occurring almost continuously and major eruptions occurring more intermittently but still fairly frequently.  It has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage site.  

AirVuz contributor italiadimezzo earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this fantastic drone video of a unique bridge in central Italy.  It's called the Ponte a Botte (Barrel Bridge), and it's located along the Via Flaminia (an ancient Roman road) in the commune of Scheggia e Pascelupo in Perugia, the northernmost of the two provinces in the central region of Umbria.  The video also features some stunning shots of the Appenine Mountains, a chain of peaks which runs down the "spine" of peninsular Italy.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Road of Wonders earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list with this fantastic FPV video of the surfing scene in the Tuscany region of Italy.  The video was filmed on the beaches of Rosignano Solvay, which is located on Italy's western Mediteranean coastline in the Tuscany region, about 70 mi. (110 km) west of Florence.  The beaches here are famous for their white sands, and it's one of the few spots in the Mediterranean which are suitable for surfing.  

Top AirVuz contributor PANVELVET won another DVOW contest with this fantastic video from the great Chinese city of Shanghai.  The video opens with a shot looking over the Huangpu River towards the Pudong District, home of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower (left) and the city's two tallest skyscrapers on the right.  At the :50 mark, you'll see the Lupu Bridge.  Starting at 1:13, there's a dramatic timelapse sequence which will take you over the Pudong skyscrapers, and at 1:40 you'll see the historic Bund on the opposite side of the river.  

Top Airvuz contributor VAlsoiapg earned a Drone Video of the Week Finalist spot for this excellent video from Venice, Italy, which was filmed with a DJI Avata 2 first person view (FPV) drone as well as a DJI Mavic Pro 4 gimbal-stabilized drone.  Opening with a shot of the "weather vane" atop St. Mark's Campanile, some of the locations featured in the video include the Rialto Bridge (first seen at the :10 mark), St. Mark's Square (:30), St Mark's Basilica (:55), the Doge's Palace (:59), and more.  
 

Multiple DVOW Finalist timoksanen bings us this outstanding Fall drone video from northern Finland.  It was filmed near the village of Hetta in the municipality of Enontekiö in the northwestern part of Lapland (Finland's northern region).  Popular with cross-country skiers, this is some of the most remote territory in continental Europe: the nearest airport with all-season service is about a two hour drive away.  Hetta is the "gateway" to Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park, Finland's third-largest national park.  

Check out this fantastic drone video of the city of Siena, Italy by top AirVuz contributor Mauro Pagliai.  Filmed with a gimbal-stabilized drone as well as a first person view (FPV) quad, the video opens with a shot diving down the Torre del Mangia, which overlooks the main square Piazza del Campo.  At the :15 mark (and again at :32), you'll fly past the bell tower of the Siena Cathedral, one of Italy's most-recognized cultural landmarks.  The video was filmed in connection with the 2025 Siena International Photo Awards ceremony.

Check out these amazing drone views of Chongqing, China, compliments of zhoucreative.  At the :06 mark, you'll see the massive Raffles City Chongqing skyscraper complex, which lies at the tip of the peninsula where the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers converge.  At :10, you'll see the Dongshuimen Bridge, which crosses the Yangtze just upriver from the confluence, and at :24 you'll see the Huayan Temple, to the city's southwest.  At :34, there's a beautiful shot looking down at the heart of the city from the right (south) bank of the Yangtze.  

Top contributor dronesantana007 brings us this fantastic drone video of the historic city of Ghent, Belgium.  The video opens with a shot of St. Michaels Bridge, which spans the Leie River in the heart of the city.  At the 1:33 mark, you'll fly over the 12th century Gravensteen Castle.  Starting at 1:45, there's an awesome shot flying towards four of the tallest buildings in the old city, left to right: Saint Bavo's Cathedral, the Belfry, St. Nicholas Church, and the Old Post Office.  Other highlights include St. Michaels Church (2:24).   

Check out the brilliant Fall colors of the Wasatch Mountains in the USA state of Utah, compliments of top AirVuz contributor montesinosdroneworld.  Filmed with a DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone, and picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest, the video will take you over the following locations in the range, which runs through the north-central part of the state and is part of the greater Rocky Mountains system: Big Cottonwood Canyon, Guardsman Pass, Pine Canyon Road, and the town of Midway.  

Former DVOW Finalist DESPACITO POR EL MUNDO brings us this excellent drone video from the Spanish Pyrenees.  The video features footage from five different villages in Huesca, the northernmost of the provinces of the Aragon region.  In order of appearance, they are: (1) Lanuza, which lies on the left bank of the Gállego River; (2) Echo, which is part of the  Valle de Hecho, a bit to the west; (3) Torla, which lies to the east of Lanuza; (4) Santa Cruz de las Serós, which lies to the south; and (5) Aínsa, to the southeast. 

Former DVOW Finalist eCKsplorer used a DJI Air 2 drone to create this fantastic aerial tour of the waterfalls of the Faroe Islands, a Danish archipelago in the North Atlantic Ocean.  The first stop is the Fossá waterfall, on the island of Stremoy.  At the :42 mark, you'll see the Múlafossur Waterfall on the island of Vágar.  At 2:10, there's a beautiful shot of Bøsdalafossur, also on Vágar, which drains the Sørvágsvatn lake into the sea.  Other featured waterfalls include Skarðsáfossur, Svartafoss, Týggjará, and Svartidalurfoss.  

Multiple DVOW Finalist eCKsplorer brings us this fantastic drone video of Bergen, Norway's second-largest city.  The city lies on an inlet of the North Sea on the Bergen Peninsula in Vestland County, in the western part of the country.  Founded in the 11th century AD, Bergen served as the capital of the proto-state of Norway until that role was assumed by Oslo in the early 14th century.  However, it remained Norway's largest city until well into the 19th century.  Due to its topography, it's sometimes called the City of Seven Mountains.

Take a tour of the Mediteranean island of Malta with this fantastic drone video by top contributor eCKsplorer.  The video opens with a shot of the famous Blue Lagoon, on the small "satellite" island of Camino, followed by Fort Manoel, northwest of Valletta.  At the 1:32 mark, you'll see Fort St. Elmo in Valletta, and at 4:08 you'll see that city's domed Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.  Other highlights include the city of Senglea (4:53) and Fort St. Elmo (5:19) on the Grand Harbor; the Blue Grotto (7:15); Mdina (9:10); and more.  

Check out these iconic aerial views of the Netherlands, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Mehmet AKYÜZ.  While tulips are believed to have been first cultivated in what is now modern-day Iran during the 10th century AD, they came to the Netherlands via the Ottoman Empire sometime in the 16th century.  Tulip production in the Netherlands is concentrated in the province of Flevoland in the centrer of the country, as well as the Bollenstreek region between the cities of Amsterdam, the Hague, and Leiden.
