Between Strength and Silence explores the diverse landscapes of Peneda-Gerês National Park, where nature alternates between calm and power with complete naturalness.

The first part opens with the serenity of Lindoso. Its castle overlooks the valley, traditional granaries line the rock, and the Peneda-Gerês mountains envelop the village in a tranquil atmosphere, almost frozen in time.The pace gradually shifts, leading to the most intense part of the journey. The Lindoso Reservoir releases a massive amount of water, the river becomes turbulent, mist envelops the surroundings, and the landscape reveals its wildest and most powerful side.Calm returns in the final stretch, around the Fojo do Lobo de Germil, an ancient wolf trap built of stone. These "fojos" were used by local communities to protect livestock: wolves were guided by funnel-shaped walls into a deep pit, a testament to the ingenuity and the harsh coexistence between humankind and nature.
