Drone racing is coming to ESPN3 Live! Later this year an IDRA FPV race at Governor's Island in NYC will be the first ever live broadcast from a major TV network in the United States. Hear how excited some of the sponsors and racers are! ----- Drone Racing, a sport we all know and love, is about to be soaring to a TV near you! The International Drone Racing Association signed a MULTI-YEAR DEAL with ESPN, The LA Times reports. FPV, or first person view, racing has been live-streamed on Airvuz.com, but has never been shown on a major TV Network. We spoke with Drone Racer's Founder, Adam Negrón about what this means for the sport: The 2016 National Drone Championships AND 2016 World Drone Championships will be live-streamed on ESPN 3, The Network's online streaming service. According to the LA Times, a documentary-style show will air after the competition on an ESPN Network.
