Aguascalientes, Mexico
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Aguascalientes is a small state in Central Mexico. It's name translates to "hot springs" in reference to a natural phenomenon which is found here in abundance. In this drone video by contributor rpj321, you'll get some great aerial views of some of the state's most spectacular sights. The highlight is the Broken Christ of the Island Shrine, which is located on an island in the Presidente Calles reservoir lake in the municipality of San José de Gracia. It's one of the five largest statues in all of Mexico.

My family is from Aguascalientes, Mexico - and I always try my best to explore the surrounding areas when I'm there. Last year I managed to hike up a mountain with my younger cousins, went to a Canyon, a Lake, and flew my drone in the ranch town where my dad grew up. Not many people ever talk about Aguascalientes... But this place holds a special place in my heart.
