Amazing Trip To Javakheti - Travel Where You Live Georgia

The area filmed is known as Javakheti, and it's in the southern part of the country. It roughly corresponds to the present-day municipalities of Akhalkalaki and Ninotsminda in the Samtskhe–Javakheti region. The culture and history of the region is closely tied to that of neighboring Armenia; nearly 95% of the population of the two municipalities is ethnic Armenian.
