AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : The ongoing electric vehicle revolution is requiring the construction of gigantic new manufacturing plants to manufacture the batteries to power the electric motors that drive these new cars, trucks, and buses. In this excellent drone video by AirVuz contributor Shuttering Thru Life, you'll get a great aerial view of one of these new mammoth facilities. The factory, operated by Ultium Cells, is located in Spring Hill, Tennessee, south of Nashville. It covers 2.3 million square ft. (about 214k square m).

This is the new battery plant by Ultium Cells located in Spring Hill, Tennessee. 2.8 million square feet under 1 roof. This $2.3 Billion facility will supply batteries for the new General Motors electric vehicles. 1,300 new jobs will be created. Production is expected to start in 2023. One of my followers ask me to get a shot of this plant to get a better understanding of its size. I figured a video would do more justice in showing just how massive this facility really is.
