Flying in the eastern part of the Harz mountains, Germany, again. A misty morning in the no-fly zone national park is followed by blue fields of cornflowers. Ballenstedt Castle is a three winged place from the early 18th century. Interestingly they incorporated a monastery church. I still prefer the model next to it. Next stop is Rose Castle, first mentioned 963, since all but vanished. What we see today is a new version, built in the early 20th century. St. Cyriakus in Gernrode was built in the 10th century. In addition to being a fine example of romanesque architecture it boasts the oldest holy sepulcher in Germany: It recreates the holy sepulcher in Jerusalem and is dated to around 1100. It's not open to the public right now but I could glimpse through a window. Finally fields for the DJI FPV drone. Music: Audiio.com
