Kilchurn Castle Sunrise

See the beautiful and historic Kilchurn Castle as the sun rises in this drone video by contributor and pilot Don Alexander Lumsden. The ruined structure sits on a rocky peninsula at the edge of Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. The castle was built in the mid-15th century by the powerful Campbell clan of Glenorchy and was inhabited by the family for nearly 150 years. In 1770, the family became Earls of Breadalbane and moved, leaving the castle forever. It is now a scheduled historical monument.
