Lake Tomeo - Autumn Edition 🍁 (Ticino, Switzerland)

Lake Tomeo's shades of blue are reminiscent of an impressionist painting, the steep slopes surrounding it give it an intense, brooding colour, which changes with the sunlight to shades of deep blue and, at times, emerald hues.

Whether big or small, every hiker will find something to suit them in the Tomeo Valley. You will climb peaks, walk across rich alpine meadows, discover centuries-old farms and pastures, cross cool streams and, with a bit of luck, encounter marmots, stoats, black grouse or chamois.

The Capanna Tomeo is located in a landscape carved out of rock, near a lake of intense colours, at the base of daring peaks and ridges and at the centre of trails and passes leading into neighbouring valleys.
