The mountains of Legos are the perfect place to admire beautiful landscapes. They provide, in fact, views of Lake Maggiore, Magadino plain, the Verzasca Valley and the Monte Rosa massif. An ideal spot to contemplate this wonderful show is the Grotto Mountain Hut Lego. It is a typical rural structure that offers hot and cold food and 10 beds, which is open from early April to late October.

The mountains of Legos are an ideal point of departure and arrival of many excursions. To achieve this goal it is possible to take the cable car Orselina- Cardada (accessible by car or cable-way Locarno- Orselina): designed by architect Mario Botta, this modern cable car allows you to get up to Cardada, from which a pleasant trail suitable for the whole family will take you to the mountains of Lego.
