Patch of Heaven Sanctuary

I had a chance to visit Patch of Heaven Sanctuary a few weeks back. It was such a captivating property with a ton of history. Their mission is dedicated to preserving their forest and local wildlife, as well as the integrity of the historic structures located on the property. It houses one of the largest bat houses in the world. The two-tier structure can house up to 250,000 bats. That’s a lot of guano!
