The town of Portrush is located on the northern coast of County Antrim, the northernmost of the six counties which make up this region of the United Kingdom. It's best known for its three main beaches: West Strand, East Strand and White Rocks. Settled for thousands of years, the town became one of the pre-eminent beach holiday destinations on the entire island of Ireland in the 19th century.
