Whitley Bay lies in northeast England, in the region of Northumberland, England's northernmost region.  North Tyneside, which sits on the bay, is home to an incredible lighthouse overlooking the North Sea.  Contributor Avarice used a drone to beautifully capture this lighthouse near Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, close to Hadrian's Wall and the border with neighboring Scotland.
