Sunset at Piedmont Park

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Piedmont Park is one of the great green spaces of Atlanta, Georgia. Seen here in this drone video by contributor and pilot Bumble Bee Productions, it's located east and a bit north of the Midtown area and a bit less than 2 km (around a mile) northeast of Downtown. The park was built in the late 19th century as the venue for the 1887 Piedmont Exposition, a sort of "coming out" party for Atlanta as it emerged from the Reconstruction. The park covers about 90 acres and has numerous recreational areas and facilities.

I have visited Piedmont park for years but it has been a minute since I have stopped by. Piedmont park is nestled in Midtown Atlanta and is a center piece of all that is Atlanta with is art, culinary and cultural mix of one big happy community.
