Sweet Summer Suite

This movie is an assemblage of vignettes from the first half of summer in NH and Vermont. The locations are: • The field behind our home • The Falls of Lana in Salisbury, Vermont • Harding Hill Farm in Sunapee, NH • Sunapee Harbor, NH • Little Lake Sunapee, NH All was filmed with a Phantom 4 Pro drone. The music was obtained via my subscription to AudioBlocks, it is an interesting variation on Bach's "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." As a side note, I made some different decisions about editing this movie. I had several clips that just didn’t want to be cut into the typical 3-8 second length that normally provides the energy and momentum in my movies. When you see the waterfall shot, or one of the sunset shots at the end, or the stroke-of-good-fortune capture of the MV Sunapee coming in to the dock,…. hopefully you will understand what I mean. Some things just can’t be rushed! The visual story needs to play out. I will be curious to hear what you think of that, or anything else. Your feedback is important to my creative process.
