Tribulaun (Südtirol, Italy)

Tribulaun is one of the most distinctive mountains in the Stubai Alps, on the border between South Tyrol and Tyrol. Its impressive shape and dramatic limestone walls rising above the surrounding valleys make it an easily recognizable and fascinating mountain. The massif includes several peaks, most notably the Tribulaun of Fleres, which reaches approximately 3,097 meters, and the Tribulaun of Gschnitz on the Austrian side. On the Italian side, the route leads through Val di Fleres, a beautiful side valley of the Wipptal surrounded by forests, alpine meadows, mountain streams, and spectacular rocky walls. As the trail climbs towards the upper valley, the landscape becomes increasingly rugged and wild before reaching the Tribulaun Mountain Hut, located at around 2,369 meters above sea level.
