Trinity Cathedral
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor and drone pilot romanblats brings us this marvelous aerial video of a beautiful church in the Russian heartland. It's called The Cathedral of the Life-Giving Trinity, and it's located in the town of Gus-Zhelezny in the oblast (province) of Ryazan. Located a few hours' drive east-southeast of Moscow, the church is built in a pseudo-Gothic desgn with some traces of the Baroque and Classicist styles. Construction of the landmark began around the turn of the 18th century and it took almost seven decades to complete.

The village with the unusual name Gus Zhelezny attracts lovers of the mysterious. Here, in addition to the unusual temple, which asks more for the square of some European city, and not for the Ryazan outback, there is a manor of industrialist Andrei Rodionovich Batashev - a place overgrown with many legends. All thanks to the owner, whom contemporaries called "the Dracula of Ardatovsky district." Locals still believe that ghosts live in an abandoned manor house and ask if they really want to visit the ruins.
