Met up with Brian, Tyler, and Gabriel to fly an abandoned hydro dam. Fascinating spot, three huge turbines inside the building and an old spillway. Can see where the river was diverted when the plant was operational. Such a treacherous spot, crashing anywhere can be deadly, for the quad and pilot. The whole area is now swamp\marsh land, and below the dam is old stagnant water and mud, looks like quicksand. Inside the building is full of large steel machinery everywhere, hanging cables and chains, broken windows and hanging lumber. So much fun !
