Werribee Gorge Victoria 2026

It was great to return to Werribee Gorge today on this beautiful summer morning. A one hour drive from Melbourne, it has wild, rugged natural beauty shaped by 500 million years of geological history. There is rock climbing at Falcons Lookout, bush walking trails, hiking and picnic areas and if you're game you can swim in the Werribee River.
