Docklands in Melbourne - Old Wharf
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Docklands area of Melbourne, Australia was the home of the city's initial port, which was created by the re-routing of the Yarra River in the 1880's. With the advent of giant containerships in the 1950's and 60's, the port was moved downstream to deeper waters, leaving the old Docklands in a state of virtual abandonment. Beginning in the 1990's, the Docklands was largely re-developed. In this drone video by Gizmo Drones, you'll get an aerial view of one of the last vestiges of the old harbor: the Victoria Dock.

This video is about an old wharf and unused port authority building in Docklands, Melbourne. I filmed it as I live nearby plus this strip of land is interesting to look at. Eventually it will be gone once it is developed and turned into new apartment buildings and it becomes Collins Wharf. I hope you like it and thank you for watching.
