Melbourne Docklands Part 1 - Yarra's Edge & Victoria Harbour

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Former DVOW Finalist Gizmo Drones brings us this excellent aerial tour of the Docklands area of Melbourne, one of Australia's most ambitious waterfront redevelopment projects. Situated on the banks of the Yarra River just west of the CBD, the Docklands was the site of the original Port of Melbourne before the advent of large containerships required the relocation of the port downriver. The area subsequently fell into a state of decay, before being transformed in a massive redevelopment effort which began in the late 1990's.
