Whitmire SC - the Jewel of the Piedmont

Come with me on an aerial trip over a small town that used to be one of the richest towns in South Carolina.  A little mill town called Whitmire, founded by German immigrants in the late 1700s. Still quite a jewel, it features old time homes, churches that stood the test of time, and streets that dead end into the Sumter National Forest.
