Winter Ducks

A short movie about a flock of approximately 160 ducks that cluster together in the harsh NH winter. This is the first time I have made a drone movie using ambient sound, the natural sound of the ducks recorded on my iPhone after filming from the air.
In case you are appropriately concerned about harassment of wildlife, I can assure you that the ducks were not bothered in the least by the presence of the drone. I began by very gradually lowering down towards them, if they had looked at all spooked, I was prepared to back away and film this from a distance. Interestingly, they would make a fuss if a person came anywhere near to them, and swim away. As you can see from the movie, they didn't care about the mechanical bird, I got as close as 4' from them. No ruffled feathers!
