Nestled at 2300 meters above sea level, under the mighty red rock peaks of Monte Coleazzo, is the northern Monticelli lake, a small jewel of the upper Valcamonica. Little frequented compared to the most well-known tourist destinations in the area, it can be reached by a fairly short path (3.8 km), but with over 700 meters in altitude, almost all concentrated in just 2 km.
