Kill The Spot

Tomz FPV

Tomz FPV is a pilot who's constantly pushing the sport of Freestyle FPV. In this edit, he pilots the most thrilling lines at a very unique and appealing bando making this arguably one of his sickest flights of all time. Proximity? Check. Dives? Check. Speed? Check, check! With this flight he's rolled, power-looped, and driven himself into our Drone Video Awards' FPV Freestyle Technical Winner's spot.

Bando in the mountain // intro into 2019

Domi_FPV

Want to know the coolest thing about ripping through bandos? The pilot is making what was old new again - recycling at its most basic. Domi_FPV definitely earned that green star with this run through an old, abandoned home and the eerie woods that surrounds it. The editing tricks only make the piece that much better.

Post-Apocalyptic

InfernoOX

On the site of the old Continental Factory, where they used to make rubber tires, lies a few buildings that have been dormant since 1991. What used to consist of 30 buildings is now just down to a few, which will soon be torn down. The buildings in Hannover, Germany, are perfect bando finds; InfernoOX took advantage of the area to rip a few packs in this aptly named post-apocalyptic video.

Mental hospital

Confident FPV

This bando location give you two spots for the price of one. Confidnet FPV says it used to be a mental hospital where a few famous faces made a stop - what we love about the location is there are two abandoned buildings with an open, ghost-branch-filled space in between. Confident FPV lives up to the name and rips around tight corners in and outside of the buildings, showing off not only his skills but also the abundant graffiti surrounding the hospital walls.

The Forbidden Track

JonhyO Tapadas

If you're looking for a train ticket out of this town, you're out of luck — trains stopped moving through here long ago.  That didn't stop FPV pilot JonhyO Tapadas from taking a wild ride through this bando.  This smooth freestyle flight through an old railway turntable is on track for being one of the coolest bando drone videos on AirVuz.

Maybe the coal industry isn't quite going to see its revival any time soon but at least its fallen facilities provide for some intense FPV freestyle flights!  FPV pilot Fincky flies through the heavily graffitied skeleton of a former petro and coal plant.  His maneuvers are so quick you can barely tell which side is up and which is down — making this one epic bando flight!

FYING IN A MENTAL ASYLUM

holmsie fpv

Is it just us or is this FPV flight just pure INSANITY?  Pilot holmsie fpv goes completely mental on this snow-covered bando that just so happens to be an old mental asylum.  Be warned...watching his crazy power loops through the rubble of this institution might make you a little loopy.

See it all in this brilliantly edited cinematic drone video.

CASTELSTIX

DAFT fpv

FPV pilot DAFT fpv's skills dominate in this castle bando freestyle session.  This abandoned castle has been completely gutted with its exterior walls and overgrown garden as the only evidence that it was once a place of grandeur.  Watch as he works those stix to fly effortlessly through the remains of this castle.

Huge Abandoned Hotel in Korea

JohnnyFPV

DRL racing pilot JohnnyFPV went to South Korea and happened upon this massive building complex bando.  As seen in this freestyle footage, there are quite a few vacancies in this spot.  He glides smoothly from floor to floor, and building to building in his classically  juicy style full of perfectly executed flips, dives, and rolls.  This video won the AirVuz Drone Video Award in the Freestyle category in 2017.

The very talented Trinco claims this was the biggest and tallest abandoned building structure he's ever flown in.  What are the benefits of a big, bad bando?  Versatility.  In a FPV paradise like this you can race, you can freestyle, and you can dive without worrying about the hazards other spots have. Dive into the concrete Bandozilla!

Abandoned Cement Plant - Winter Edition

AngeloFPV

Be amazed as FPV pilot AngeloFPV brings to life a scene that is otherwise pretty much done and dead.  This FPV rip sesh takes place at a cement plant that's no longer in operation, surrounded by dead trees and leaves from the winter cold.  Lucky for us, his sick FPV maneuvers lighten the place up a bit!

Unnatural Beauty

nurkfpv

This FPV freestyle session from 2018 DRL champion pilot Nurkfpv features a bando, maybe not so much a traditional bando, but rather a bando that is more one with nature.  Coasting skillfully over graffiti-covered boulders, nurk raises a deep philosophical question: if something's simply tagged, does that make it a bando?  Go home and think that over a minute.

Abandoned Hotel Belvedere in Dubrovnik

Livyu FPV

Just outside of Dubrovnik, Croatia, stands Hotel Belvedere, now an abandoned, derelict shell due to extensive damage from the Croation War of Independence from the country of former Yugoslavia.  Film scouts for the Game of Thrones series found it's amphitheatre, facing the sea (and now adorning graffiti noting the Split soccer team), to be the perfect filming location for the final episode of Season 4 in which Prince Oberyn fights The Mountain.  FPV Drone pilot Livyu also found it to be the alluring spot for some FPV freestyle flying.

Dexouni Abandoned Village - FPV Cinematic

Greco FPV

Bandos are some of the best FPV locations to rip up. Usually it is just one building or just one job sight, but this video by Greco FPV has a lot more to offer. He found an entire abandoned and ancient town to shred. It's a fun, visually enticing flight that we're positive you'll enjoy!

Consider this bad boy a three-for-one! It features flight footage from FPV pilots ELCUYFPV, CORVUS.FPV, and ELBUHOFPV. The pilots ripped up the sky outside a bando in Staten Island, the New York City borough. With impressive technicality and challenging manuevers this bando is definitely worth the watch.

# FPV HEAVEN

Wons fpv

When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When your city closes your childhood-favorite waterpark, you go back and make a sick bando video. Firing up his quad, Wons FPV takes all of us on a little adventure through the closed park, flowing down and power-looping around the colorful slides and "diving" into the empty pool. It’s a little eerie, yes, but definitely cool, earning him a feature on our social media pages.
