Valencia is the third city of Spain, after Madrid and Barcelona.  It is situated around the midway point of Spain's long coastline on the Mediterranean Sea.  The has one of the finest natural harbors in Europe, and it is the biggest port for containerships in the Mediterranean.  Top contributor Justin Poore used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to to make this amazing aerial portrait of the ancient city, the heart of a region by the same name which has a very distinctive culture.

Travel Lifestyle created this amazing aerial video of Penyal d'Ifac, a natural park on the central Mediterranean coast of Spain.  The area is a massive rock formation is near the town of Calpe, which is in the Alicante province.  The Alicante province is one of three which make up Spain's autonomous Valencia region on its central-Mediterranean coast.  The highest rock in the park, which is shown in the video, rises over 330 meters (about 1.1k ft) above the sea below.

Benicasim is one of the most popular beach towns on the Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast) of eastern Spain.  This stretch of Mediterranean coastline is in the Castellon province, the northernmost of the three provinces (the other two being Valencia and Alicante) which make up Spain's Valencia autonomous community.  In this video, contributor MaXcoRp used a DJI Phantom 4 drone to create an epic aerial tour of this bit of Mediterranean paradise.

In this video, contributor Skysurfer brings us some amazing aerial views of castles and castle towns in the Spanish region of Valencia.  The first town shown is that of Peniscola, a small coastal town in the province of Castellon.  The town's castle dates to the 12th century and possibly well before.  Peniscola was a filming location in HBO's Game of Thrones in Season 6.  The town appears as Meereen, in Slaver's Bay on the continent of Essos.

Rock Climbing in Chulilla - Spain

Contributor Houman_the__sloth created this amazing drone video of one of the top rock climbing spots in Spain.  Chulila is in Spain's Valencia community, about an hour's drive northwest of the city of Valencia.  Using a DJI Mavic Air drone, he aerially filmed a climber scaling the areas rock faces.  The challenges associated with scaling these cliffs has turned the area into a magnet for rock climbers throughout the world.

Designed by a team of famous architects, it opened in 1998.  The original and most prominent building is an IMAX Theater and planetarium designed in the shape of a human eye.  The other buildings cover other branches of arts and sciences, all with an "entertainment" flavor to the education.  You'll get a brief but informative aerial look at the museum in this drone video from ValBurger.

Valencia has some of Europe's most magnificent rock formations, and that means some epic opportunities for rock climbing.  A popular climbing spot is in the hills above the town of Redován, which is at the foot of a small mountain range called the Sierra de Callosa, one of the many mini-ranges which dot the Iberian Peninsula.  In this video, you'll get a drone's eye view of some brave climbers scaling these beautiful formations, which lie in the southern part of the autonomous Valencia region.
