The small nation of Belize is one of the up and coming Central American tourist destinations. It's the only country in the region which does not have a Pacific coastline; but what it does have is a beautiful coast along the Caribbean. It's attracted a growing following of outdoor enthusiasts who seek out its amazing swampy wetlands, interior jungles, and the world's second-largest coral reef system. From San Pedro to Cay Caulker, here are the best drone videos from this beautiful country, one of the least densely populated in Central America. Aerial photo: "South Water Caye" by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Duarte Dellarole.

Ambergris Caye is one of the largest and least well known islands of the western Caribbean. It sits off the coast of northeastern Belize, just below on add-shaped southern extension of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula. Its primary settlement is the town of San Pedro, near its southern tip. On a scuba diving trip, contributor Jeven Dovey used his DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this unforgettable aerial portrait of this Central American paradise, which has become a world-class scuba diving destination.

Many people are familiar with Australia's Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest coral reef. In contrast, very few are aware of the world's second-largest reef system: the Belize Barrier Reef. Part of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef System, which extends from the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico to Nicaragua, the reef runs along the Caribbean coast of Belize. Seen in this travel video by Duarte Dellarole, the Belize reef is home to some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving waters in the Western Hemisphere.

Belize's Orchid Bay Resort is one of the top accommodations in Corazal, the northernmost town in this small Central American country. The resort and town lie on Corazal Bay, an inlet of the larger Chetumal Bay which in turn opens up onto the Caribbean Sea. Heavily damaged by Hurricane Janet in 1955 and later restored, the town was originally built on the ruins of a pre-Columbian Mayan settlement. In this excellent drone video by top contributor DuarteDellarole, you'll get a bird's eye view of the resort and its idyllic surroundings.
