Drone Videos of Motocross and Enduro Bikes

Take in these epic views of Motorcross and Enduro bikers in this compilation video, which was created using some of the best footage from the "Drone Videos of Motocross and Enduro Bikes" collection on the AirVuz website.  You'll be treated to some thrilling shots of some of the world's top riders tackling challenging natural and man-made courses around the world, including some epic first person view (FPV) drone shots.  It's one of dozens of action sports-related videos by DroneTV.     

Check out this fantastic drone video of an off-road motorcycle race in North Africa, compliments of AirVuz contributor Master Media Lab.  The Casteu Trophy is an enduro race held in Merzouga, Morocco, which is deep in the Sahara Desert and close to Morocco's western border with Algeria.  The Casteu Trophy race was inspired by the famous Dakar Rally, which is now held in Saudi Arabia but which originated in Northern Africa.  This video was picked as the Drone Video of the Week in late March of 2024.  

Prepare to be blown away by this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video of some VERY talented moto-cross stuntriders.  Top FPV pilot Gespar used his FPV mini-quad to film the action at the Mayhem May, 2017 event.  Showing the power of FPV quads to track even the fastest-moving of action sports, he gets up close and personal with these riders as they catch air, flip, and perform other death-defying tricks.  This video was selected as a Finalist at the first Annual Drone Video Awards in the Freestyle FPV category.

In this outstanding video by former Drone Video of the Week Finalist OCDroneProductions, you'll get an aerial view of the Nitro Circus Freestyle Motocross event which was held in connection with the US Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, California (south of Los Angeles, in Orange County) in the Summer of 2023.  The first year in which the motocross event was added as a complement to the surfing competition.  Motocross competitors included legendary riders Twitch Steinburg, Jarryd McNeil, Beau Bamburg, Keith Sayers, and Brian McCarthy.

This movie trailer has us all kinds of excited for this upcoming film. Focusing on what it takes to be a World Champion dirt biker, the film was shot on a typical ground camera, but a massive amount of drone footage was mixed in in order to track these best-in-the-world bikers. Aerial pilot and cinematographer BADBILLY has already shown that he knows what he’s doing when it comes to making a dynamic, moving film with this trailer; the full film is sure to be a documentary to remember. This video was a DVOW nominee in May 2019.

Two wheeled vehicles aren't confined to surface roads any more than four wheeled vehicles.  Motorcycles let loose on an off-road obstacle course make for some highly entertaining action.  In this video, which was a winner at the 2017 Los Angeles Drone Film Festival, AirVuz contributor and pilot Fourohfourfilmfactory gives us a drone's eye view of one of the most amazing motorcycle courses you've ever seen.  This video was a Finalist in the Sports category for the first Annual Drone Video Awards.

This cinematic drone footage of motocross action is some seriously adrenaline-inducing stuff.  Top AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Mauro Sciambi captured intense aerial views of these moto riders taking sharp turns and jumps, on and off the road, and compiled them all into this daring drone video. Get ready to see these guys gear up and go, and from the best possible perspective! Watching them perform crazy motocross stunts from a drone's view is nothing but sheer awesomeness.

We can’t get enough of first person view (FPV) mini-quad pilots shooting extreme sports. The proximity, speed, angles and more make it such an upgraded experience compared to watching footage that was taken with regular cameras.  Talented AirVux contributor and FPV pilot CoddyKay is definitely a pilot to watch when it comes to tracking motocross riders. Watch how he gets up close and personal, often getting caked in dirt, then floats up to give a wider view of the track. Take note, ladies and gents. 

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Epicfpv used a GoPro Hero 11 Mini mounted to an FPV quad to create this incredible video of some very talented freestyle motocross (FMX) riders.  Filmed during Arizona Bike Week 2023, the video captures top riders Dustin Nowak, Chase Bradshaw, Patrick Evans performing some incredible freestyle tricks.  With some magnificent slo-mo shots, this video was picked by the AirVuz editorial staff for the Pilots to Watch list in April of 2023.       

The Dakar Rally is probably the world's most famous long-distance off-road race.  Featuring both two- and four-wheel races, it began as a race between Paris and Dakar in Senegal, West Africa (with some over-water transport) in 1978.  Beginning in 2009, due to security concerns on parts of the African leg of the course, it moved almost half a world away, to Peru in South America.  Top contributor freeway prod created this amazing drone video of the event, which kept its original name despite the venue change.  

The impressive jumps and stunts witnessed in FMX (Freestyle Motocross) make it a fantastic sport for spectators, but we all know the best way to take it in is with a drone like GLDCreative's racing quad. In this killer edit, he chases the ride around X Games medalists Taka Hagashino and Jerryd McNeil.  These are two of the best in the world at their trade, and they participated in the X Games in Minneapolis (also home to AirVuz HQ) in 2019. For all of this and more, GLDCreative was added to our Pilots to Watch list in January, 2020!

Brace yourself for this motocross frenzy that takes place on an ashen Enduro course at the base of an active volcano in Indonesia. Top AirVuz content creator and pilot Sky Marshal flew his drone above the action, capturing the bikers as they race through obstacles in the black soot-covered track. The volcanic beast rests quietly but the epic scale of this drone video is going to explode!  The video is illustrative of the way in which drones are allowing us to see exciting action sports from never-before seen perspectives.  

We’ve seen plenty of motorcycle racing, drag racing, and Indy Car racing videos by first person view (FPV) drone, but we can’t say we’ve seen anything like this. Sidecar racing, where there is a driver and a sidecar that holds an additional passenger who helps navigate the terrain by using their body weight. Mini quad pilot BlinKFPV captured a Cross Championship Race, featuring side-car racing in this incredibly cool 4K FPV video. This edit and flight earned him a FPV Pilots to Watch nod in May 2019.

Ride along with top first person view (FPV) drone pilot Epicjfpv as he skillfully films two of the top freestyle motocross (FMX) riders around a jump-filled course.  Australian rider Jarryd McNeil has been active on the FMX circuit for over a decade, with three X- Games wins to his name (among other accolades), while American rider Chase Bradshaw is known around the world for his aerial stunts.  The video was filmed with the GoPo Hero 11 Mini action camera at McNeil's famous dirtbike "farm".  

As you'll see in this drone video by contributor and pilot Genesis Reyes, the beaches of the Dominican Republic aren't just for suntanning.  He used a drone to film a major Enduro event at Cabarete Beach on the DR's northern coast.  The riders included well known Enduro stars Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker, Alfredo Gómez, and Mario Román.  Watch it to get a great bird's eye view of some epic Enduro racing on a beautiful Atlantic beach.  Cabarete is part of the country's Puerto Plata Province.  

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot chrissbergan earned a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2023 with this marvelous video of some very talented enduro riders tackling the volcanic Mt. Batur on the Indonesian island of Bali.  Still very much active, Batur is located a bit to the northwest of Mt. Agung, in the north-central part of the island.  The volcano has a peak altitude of about 5.6k ft. above sea level (about 1.7k m), a bit over half as tall as Mt. Agung.  

It’s amazing how close mini quads can get to motorcycles. The ability to capture all of the heart-pounding, gravity-defying, ridiculously fast action is something we’ve never seen before - at least not with such accuracy and precision. The first person view flying seen in this chase-down video by pilot andresbung is a perfect example. He’s able to avoid the sand being kicked up at his camera’s lens while keeping top speed down the straightaways and leaping high over the jumps behind the bikers. 

Talented AirVūz contributor and pilot brookaitken combines style, motocross, and drones in this dynamic drone video.  He took the opportunity to film the freshly re-designed Berthoud Motocross track in Colorado, with his DJI Inspire 2 drone, and the result was this epic aerial footage of the dirt bikes in action on the new surreal landscape.  It will make you appreciate the power of drones to capture this exciting action sport which is otherwise difficult to film.  You won't want to miss the aerial action in this rad reel!

Enduro motorcycles are off-road racing bikes used in “enduros,” long-distance, cross-country, timed trial competitions. They often feature oversized gas tanks, sump protectors, and more durable components than other racing bikes.  In this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video, AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot eVolvE FPV used his mini racing quad to rip up the dirt behind an obviously very talented enduro biker, nearly crashing in to him several times due to his insanely close proximity flying. 

Fly right in the face of epic with AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot Stephen Peot's cinematic FPV motocross flight! The insane skills of both the freestyle motocross bikers and the FPV pilot come together in perfect synthesis in this killer drone video. The expertly executed stunts plus a few close calls make this an FPV chase that keeps you on the edge of your seat.  It was also enough to put this talented content creator on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in October of 2018.

First person view (FPV) quadcopters and motocross are a match made in heaven. There really is no other efficient way to capture these extreme athletes as they make their sharp turns, nail-biting jumps, and kick into dynamic speeds then through the eyes of an FPV-equipped drone flown by a skilled pilot.  In this excellent FPV video, top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Space FPV does one heck of a job not only capturing these BMX bikers, but really bringing the experience to life through his quality editing.
