Built on the remains of a 14th-century fortified farm, the Château de Brogieux is located in the commune of ROIFFIEUX in Ardèche (07). For a moment of peace and serenity, come stroll through the Gardens of Brogieux, amidst roses and orange trees, accompanied by a guide who will share the history of these 18th-century gardens. Acquired by the BOLLIOUD family in 1676, the building was extensively modified until the 1770s. The gardens were created under the leadership of Pierre Marie Christophe BOLLIOUD (1735–1826), the owner's ancestor. Preserved in their original structure, they bear witness to our ancestor's passion for botany and garden design. In particular, citrus fruits (bitter orange, orange, lemon, citron, etc.) arranged in Anduze pots, protected in winter in the orangery, adorn the terraces during the summer months.
