A few sights in and around Winchester. As my drone died last year I couldn't fly at Winchester Cathedral and Wolvesey Palace so I took a detour to rectify this. Didn't go inside either one. See my 2024 videos for that.

Flowerdown Barrows sports a "disc barrow" built around 2.000 to 1.700 BC. Couldn't see the other barrows that are supposed to be here.

Bishop's Waltham Palace are the extensive remains of the bishops of Winchester's lodgings from the 12th century that were extended in the later centuries.

The Medieval Merchant's House gives an interesting glimpse into medieval life.

We finish off with an unplanned visit of St. Michael's church in the vicinity that goes back to the 11th century with extensive alterations later on.
