Wisdom Path is located in Lantau Island, near to Ngong Ping. It traces a series of 38 wooden steles containing verses from the centuries-old Heart Sutra, a prayer revered by Confucians, Buddhists and Taoists alike. One stele out of 38 is left blank, to represent the concept of “emptiness”, a key theme in the Heart Sutra.
