Castelsardo - Sardinia 2023

Prepare to be amazed by these drone views of a town on the coast of the Italian island of Sardinia, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Marco Miele.  Castelsardo lies on the Gulf of Asinara, roughly in the middle of the island's northwestern coast.  The town sits just below a hilltop castle which dates to the 12th or 13th century AD. Part of the province of Sassari, which covers roughly the northern third of Sardinia, Castelsardo has a population of roughly 6k permanent residents.
