Shore | FPV Musical

Lukasz Lewenda

Sometimes finding the magic in a seemingly ordinary scene can only happen from behind a pair of FPV goggles.  FPV pilot and contributor Lukasz Lewenda had this very experience when he came across this spot along the seashore.  Watch as a simple beach with some boats parked in the sand becomes cinematic FPV bliss once his quadcopter takes flight in this drone video.

Relaxing Sketchyness

Despite the name, there is nothing sketchy about this flight by KrissKwad. It's all relaxation, at least to those of us who aren't on the sticks flying tight around jagged rocky corners that drop into the rolling sea. Shot in European vacation destination Malta on a custom 5-inch setup, this edit and flight have some serious flow.

When in Wales, Go Epic (Part 2)

When in Wales, you take advantage of a deserted, rugged coastline and rip. At least that's what UrbanFPV does in this edit of footage captured with his 5 inch Aramattan Chameleon as well as his DJI Mavic aerial cinematography drone. The flight moves from shredding the beach and zipping through ancient ruins, to scenic shots of an old lighthouse, gorgeous sunsets, and sunlight poking holes through the clouds in the countryside's rocky hills.  It will make you appreciate the beauty of this land from a brand new perspective!

The smallest of Spain's Canary Islands archipelago, El Hierro, is paradise for those looking to escape the daily grind but it's also perfect for first person view (FPV) drone pilots, especially freestylers. FPV Pilot and content creator Lougedo explores all the amazing features of El Hierro with his racing quadcopter. Remembering that he is flying with video goggles, see how he zooms between gaps in the wave-lapped rock formations on the island's Atlantic coasts and high above the sharp mountain ridges.

When we talk about locations that look so much better in first person view (FPV), this one is a perfect example. Featured in FPV Pilot to Watch, January 18th, 2019 JP brings us to Las Gredas de Bolnuevo. The heavily eroded sandstone formations along the beaches of Bolnuevo, Murcia, Spain have been shaped by water and wind over thousands of years. The area is also called Ciudad Encantada or "enchanted city," hence the name of the video. It's a unique and incredible area made magical by this smooth and tight flight.

Trying to follow birds while you're flying FPV is insanely difficult.  It's tough to even find them in your FPV goggles let alone try to track them long enough to capture some decent quality video.  JZFPV was flying his FPV quad in Florida when he came upon a group of pelicans.  As they start to scatter, he's able to keep up with them.  For about 20 seconds starting around :55 and then intermittently, you will see some of the best quad-to-bird FPV footage you'll ever see.

Melbourne Mornings

The very talented Babz_FPV happend to be up early one Melbourne morning for a coastal freestyle session.  The FPV views she captured were absolutely breathtaking, with the radiant sun rising over the ocean water horizon.  The warm colors of daybreak perfectly complemented her flight path as she kept a risky low-proximity to the rolling waves.  The killer edit proves that it was all worth the early wake-up call!

When we say bird’s-eye-view, we mean it. Fincky said “imagine what it would feel like to be an eagle in Lofoten, Norway,” so we did. This may be a quick flight through the tranquil, snowy landscape that is the northern islands, but it will leave a lasting impression.

Dams Fpv

The bright yellows, intense oranges, deep purples and cotton candy pinks seen in this 4K FPV video along the shores of northwestern France can't be beat. Dams Diesel has some serious flow in this video, which was shot along the coast of Brittany, the hilly peninsula that extends into the North Atlantic and is one of the country's most distinctive regions.  Just as ships have had to navigate Brittany's rocky shores for centuries, so the racing quad has to maneuver around the many rocks which lie just offshore here.
