Lake Ohrid forms part of the border between the countries of Albania and Macedonia in Southeastern Europe.  Between 1200 and 600 BC, the lake was home to a civilization which built on a platform anchored to the lake bed with thousands of piles.  This rather fascinating bit of history was undercovered as part of an archaelogical expedition in the late 1990's.  In this drone video by contributor and pilot ilieskispire, you'll get an aerial view of this so called "Gulf of Bones" on the Macedonian side of the lake.
