Formally known as the Kingdom of Thailand, this country sits in Southeast Asia in the heart of Indochina. With a population of nearly 70 million and a land area of over 500k square km (almost 200k square mi) Thailand (once known as Siam) has emerged as a major tourist destination and business center in recent years. For beach-seeking tourists, the most popular area of the country is in the southern provinces such as Phuket, an area that has become famous in part from being the shooting location for many feature movies. The most populous part of the country lies around Bangkok, a bustling metropolis on the Gulf of Thailand, which was the world’s most visited city by international travelers in 2018. And then of course there are the famous temples and pagodas which abound in this country, home to the world's second-largest Buddhist population. This collection features some of the most amazing drone videos of Thailand available anywhere. Aerial photo: "Panoramic View of the Phang Nga Bay....Andaman Sea, Thailand" purchased via Shutterstock.
