Sayram Lake - Xinjiang

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Multiple DVOW Winner T - christ - T brings us this fantastic drone video of a giant alpine lake in western China. It's called Sayram Lake, and it's located in Xinjiang, China's northwesternmost province, not far from the border with Kazakhstan. Filled by runoff from the nearby Tian Shan Mountains, the lake covers an area of 177 square mi. (458 square km) and sits at an elevation of about 6.8k ft. above sea level (around 2.1k m). The lake has been designated as one of the AAAAA Tourist Attractions of China, the highest ranking.
