In this video, top contributor iDrone Aerials gives us an epic aerial tour of the Czech capital Prague.  The city famously avoided destruction by retreating Nazi Germany at the end of World War II, thus sparing this cultural treasure in the heart of Central Europe.  It is perhaps the best preserved European capital city, and has been used to film numerous movies.  For example, Wenceslas Square, which you'll see at the 1:05, was the filming location for a scene in Mission: Impossible (1996).

Berlin Cathedral Aerial Tour, Germany

The Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church in Berlin,  aka the Berlin Dom, is one of the most recognized sites in the German capital city.  It was built in 1905, when Berlin was at the peak of its imperial splendor under Kaiser Wilhelm II.  In this video, content creator Raf Neo used a DJI MAvic Pro drone to create an aerial tour of this amazing structure in the Museum Island area of the city, which was in the Western sector and surrounded by the Berlin Wall for decades.

The literally glowing beauty of Poland's capital Warsaw in the evening hours is showcased brilliantly by drone pilot Damian, earning him a Drone Video of the Week nomination for this video. The city, once known as the "Paris of the East", literally rose from the ashes after being nearly destroyed in World War II.  Today, the city on the Vistula has seen much of its Old City restored to pre-war condition and has sprouted a thoroughly modern skyline alongside its historical core.

Spiš Castle, Slovakia

Spis Castle in the eastern portion of Slovakia is one of the largest and best known castle ruins in all of Europe. Built in the 13th century and then destroyed by a fire in the late 18th century, the castle is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage cultural site.  It's been used as the shooting location for numerou movies, including Dragonheart and the Last Legion.  Contributor Ivan Dovala flew a drone over Spis on a foggy morning and created this sensational bird's eye view.

Hungary Budapest Aerial Tour

Contributor Raf Neo used a DJI Mavic Pro drone to create this stunning tour of the highlights of the Hungarian capital city of Budapest.  The video opens and closes with spectacular shots of the St. Stephens Basilica, Hungary's greatest cultural treasure.  It is named after the first Hungarian king who ruled during the 10th and 11th centuries and is credited with converting his people to Christianity.  The church was completed in 1905 on the site of an old theater.

Großer Ahornboden

The Großer Ahornboden is an alpine valley in the Austria's western Tyrol province, near the Bavarian region of Germany.  It is part of an Austrian conservation preserve called Hinterriss Nature Park, which is expected to help maintain it for future generations.  With the Tyrolean Alps towering over, this valley makes for one of the most iconic scenes in all of Central Europe.  Contributor DJPilot captured  beautifully in this amazing drone video.

The Styria region of Austria lies in the southeastern part of the country, and is the second most populous of the nine federated states.  Styria is home to a single large city (Graz) and much lightly inhabited semi-mountainous country, albeit with peaks much lower than in Tyrol to the west.  In this stunning drone video, top contributor ClearSkys takes us on a tour of the Mt. Ganzalm and Stuhleck areas of Styria,  which includes footage of a giant mountaintop wind farm.

A seven day hike in the heart of the Swiss Alps allowed  @BashirAbuShakra to create this spectacular 4k drone video of his trip.  There is something for everyone in this video - endless glaciers, stunning canyons, suspended bridges, shimmering alpine valleys, waterfalls, selfies atop massive rock formations.  The video includes aerial footage of the Matterhorn, Grindelwald, and Triffbrücke.  As a way to show off the beauty of the Alps it's hard to beat this production.

Drone pilot Pava captures the rugged mountains and lakes of Slovenia in this video using a DJI Inspire 1 and timelapse editing.  The stunning beauty of this country which was formerly part of the Yugoslavia confederation is revealed from a bird's eye view, including stunning aerial shots of the glacial Lake Bled and its prominent island, and the 11th-century Bled Castle which overlooks the lake from a steep cliff.  It is one of the most iconic scenes to be found in all of Europe.

Castle Cochem

Cochem Castle, built in the 12th century, lies on the Moselle River in the Rhineland area of western Germany.  It is cradled on a hilltop that offers panoramic views of Cochem village and the surrounding landscape of the Rhineland-Palatinate state.  Contributor Stefan Beumer flew his drone over the castle and the village, creating this spectacular aerial view of the magnificent landmark, which was destroyed in the 17th century and rebuilt in the 19th.

Dolkova Spica and Mt. Triglav in the Julian Alps, Slovenia

The Julian Alps extend from northern Italy westwards into Slovenia.  A sub-range of the larger Alps system, their  highest peak is Mt. Triglav, which stands 2.9k meters (9.4k ft) and lies in Slovenia's Triglav National Park.  In this video, contributor Jus Medic and a friend took a drone and hiked to the top of Dolkova Spica, a slightly smaller mountain in Slovenia, capturing Mt. Triglav in the distance.   The epic aerial views of the Slovenian mountains are spectacular.
